Millwall were named Family Club of the year the other night. Surely a p!ss take? Most murders are committed by someone from their own family

Makes sense, family members can water you off like no other person can.
I bet a few older cockneys got worried when they were digging the ground up to build the Olympic stadium...

Millwall were named Family Club of the year the other night. Surely a p!ss take? It's to do with all the work they do within the community, which benefits people of all ages - a side of the club which doesn't make the headlines.

I think I would prefer going to Millwall away nowadays than some other games where I know our wankers would be out in force.

Me too, Millwalls reputation precedes them and they are not going to shake that off easily, even in their newer all-seater stadium.
These days you will get more trouble from Coventry, Luton and even Lincoln.

Maybe they meant family club as in they are all related to each other?
Can't be that, the teds would have won that one!

A lot of the hooligan element has bee eradicated from their match day crowd, unfortunately they managed to get involved in the big games like Wembley
In general I don't think Millwall or much worse than anyone else in general nowadays

What about their racist fans at Spurs?

I forgot about that, the guy was watered and was telling everyone who he was City when he was obviously surrounded by Gas, I mean what did he actually mean to attempt other than getting the sh** kicked out of him?! There was a red-shirted tw*t in the "Grimsbury" end at Wembley too - right behind all five of our successful penalties So, he spent 2 weeks dole money on a ticket to watch his greatest non-rivals win promotion. Priceless. What a twat.

Depends what (if anything) is riding on it. I think we will be out of the race by then anyway but i'm a pessimistic twat.

If you go looking for trouble you'll find it, the game will most likely have a hostile atmosphere but I don't think anything major will kick off

Whether you can blame a football club for thugs attaching themselves to it is always a moot point of discussion. However, the idea that Millwall are no longer to be feared is nonsense. I have lived in London for the past Forty years and have been near the ground on several occasions when high profile games were taking place and the amount of people actively looking to hurt someone badly is quite staggering. As I have said, it is the high profile/local derby type of game when this tends to happen but be assured, no other club in England could muster so many dangerous individuals when they feel the need to surface. Whether such people will be able to get tickets/feel the need to attend the game on the 30th, is anyone's guess but I am sure a fair few may. I will be in the Blackthorn and just hope that if we have nothing to play for that we can get our revenge for the drubbing we got at their place which I also attended.

True, keep forgetting it's a 12pm kick off, some of their lot will be sticking about for 'drinks' after

Watch out for Danny Baker ...... Especially if he's had a sausage sandwich.

Actually I just remembered, weren't there scenes recently of Millwall fans fighting in the stands at a Play off game? Possibly v Barnsley?
