Let's not get too sanctimonious about this. We've got our fair share of complete morons.

Let's not get too sanctimonious about this. We've got our fair share of complete morons. Especially evident at away games when some of our fans threaten their fellow fans for such heinous provocation as wanting to sit in the seat they've bought or asking them not to stand in gangways so that they can see! When I started watching football in the 70's violence was everywhere but you were very unlikely to end up in a fight with your own fans. Not these days though!

Any of our fans stamped on somebody's head or broken their legs lately? All teams have lads for fisticuffs but a couple have lads that have no boundaries.

Nobody can defend what happened but in fairness most of them have condemned the actions of those mindless morons responsible. I find it very hard to have any kind of good word said about them over there. However on this occasion apart from the odd thicko the majority of them called it exactly right...

Can't believe the Evil Post headline yesterday about city fans in hospital after fights with Wolves. What a complete cover up. The police reported the incident that 2 Wolves fans were in hospital - one after having being stamped on the head but the Post decides otherwise. I really do believe after the behaviour of the city fans seen by the world on sky during the Derby at Trashdon Lansdown has complete influence on what that paper prints.

They're not really fans though, just mindless thugs using the match as an opportunity.

Written by the Bristol City Police Liason Officer on OTIB which emphasises my thoughts on the disgusting reporting by the Evil Post ID: 314 Posted yesterday at 08:37 A very brief update, both wolves fans still in hospital. Hoping to be released today or tomorrow. 2 males arrested and released on bail for cctv enquiries etc. i can confirm both arrested males are Bristol city fans. Both males in hospital are wolves fans. i can also confirm that the Masonic pub was involved in the incident. again if any person witnessed either the start or the end of this incident then please contact 101, the incident is believed to have started in the direct area outside the Masonic pub and concluded directly outside the spotted cow. hopefully I have answered most queries.i am hopeful to get some details on injuries asap 9 people like this

To be fair to the Teds that post on One Turd, they have almost universally condemned the incident and its perpetrators. In the same way, they seemed genuinely horrified each time the Memorial Gates were vandalised, and arranged a whip-round to pay for restoration, although after a while a few theories started that it was actually Gasheads trying to make the 5hit look bad!
However, it has to be recognised that those on One Turd are from the deeper parts of the fan base gene pool, because they can read and write. Probably very quickly given they have 12 fingers. Having these skills and ability to think raises them above the great proportion of fans, and I'm afraid they have a great many knuckle-dragging Neanderthals who rejoice in physical violence.
It's always been this way, and I fear it always will be.
