I understand that John and Stuart are taking a group to Portugal for the preseason friendly in July.
John can be contacted either at the ground or indeed on Facebook if anyone is interested.
Sorry to start a new thread but felt this warranted One as it needs prospective travellers to make contact asap.

Are you serious , they make nothing out of it (they were out of pocket on the last Sabadell trip) they organise transfers to : from the airport and match which Thornton do not ! |

It seems the club must be subsidising the official deals as they are far cheaper and also include a match day ticket, £235 for a flight and 4 nights named accommodation in the sun takes some beating, when compared against the £365 for the unofficial tour in so far unnamed accommodation.

Sorry Topper, you really must do better. The shared apartment you are quoting is not including transfers, food, or just about anything else. Oh, but you will get a match ticket. For £365 they offer a complete package (alright you have to buy a match ticket). By the way Topper, its in a three star hotel, my sister has stayed there, it's across the road from the beach, not 2.5kms as in one of the quotes from Thorntons. |

Was he threatening you with a gun/ machete/ catapault at the time you travelled with him? Can you even remember how much he charged? Was it even him? Yet again people arguing on here, this time over a pre season break to Portugal.
I feel quite sure whoever gasheads travel be it Thorntons or John and Stuart will get a good deal.
In the case of Thorntons a long standing company of many many years, who would have been out of business a long time ago if they did not give value for money.
People on here speak highly of John and Stuart who I do not know personally and are obviously gasheads who do a good deal as well.
Can't we just leave it at that!
