Extended deadline announced for Bristol Rovers early bird season tickets
The club has confirmed there has been an overwhelming demand for season tickets at BS7
Bristol Rovers fans now have longer to buy their early bird season tickets thanks to the club extending the deadline.
Supporters will now be able to take advantage of cheaper prices for the 2017/18 season up until May 12
The decision was taken to extend the deadline due to the overwhelming early demand from supporters for season tickets.
Those in charge at BS7 have acknowledged that the Easter period is a busy period for fans and hopes the new deadline will give supporters the chance to take advantage of the offers.
The news comes as the club have revealed they have already sold 2,000, which is up on the number sold at this stage last season.
Benefits of buying a season ticket include priority booking for cup and play-off fixtures, priority booking for away games and an option to pay over 10 monthly instalments.

My sources tell me we'll sell 5478 seasons tickets this season. ITK.

We sold around 4k last season. I can see it being between 4-5k this season.
We could run a sweepstake £1 per number and the closest takes 50% and the FFSC takes 50%?

I suspect that after season ticket sales and pre match ticket sales that only the east terrace and southwest stand will be available for pay on the day next season.

My bank was doing the same I made an appointment with the manager and we agreed a deal where if I go over they text me to tell me and give me 24 hours to get it back under. Worth a try.

Worth a try. i actually sent my bank a written letter accusing them of an activity known as 'debt entrapment' because they increased fees and charges them 12hrs before my pay day, inducing even further charges.... you are correct mate, these banker guys are pulling a fast one, they gave me every fee id payed for 2 years back.... does make you wonder....

[br Yeah they make the rules up as they go along ( often illegally) and people go along with it because we're all scared of getting in to debt so we generally don't challenge it. They are lady gardens.

Had a similar thing with my son's account at HSBC when he reached 18. I wrote and threatened to report them to the banking ombudsman for luring youngsters into debt - all fees refunded within 7 days, then we closed the account. Good to hear that ST sales are going so well - the club deserve it after keeping the increases to a minimum.

Just renewed my ST on line. Only took a couple of minutes, just another little thing that shows how far we have come under the new regime in a year or so.

They are lady gardens. It's happened to me before with Lloyds bank, Orange mobile and Sky tv. Just call them, pretend to be outraged after years as a loyal customer and demand to speak to the manager and tell them you want to cancel TODAY. They soon change their tune and offer you all sorts of sweeteners.

Luckily I get a bonus from work towards the end of April, last year it was on the deadline day for season tickets at the early bird price and it was pretty much the exact amount, getting it next week and should just about cover the cost of my ST again, happy days.
