Does anyone know if the club will be open to show this game? 5pm kick off few beers sunshine and bash the Jocks. Could make a few quid for the club if they are interested?

If the game on either BBC or ITV, then don't think the club would take the risk. Many will stay at home.

I think it is a good ideal.
It would be good to watch the game with a few of the playing squad/management/staff. I can't imagine they will all be on holiday.
A month without going to the Mem. This would be the perfect way to get your fix (and help raise some revenue for the club).

Didn't your teachers tell you to "spell as you speak". I don't think that should necessarily be the case for Bristolians though!
I hope the club do show this. Maybe people could hire out the boxes with a meal similar to the beambacks? If the players were there in a formal out of season event, I think quite a few fans would watch the game at the mem, especially if it a first chance to meet some new signings.
Maybe a special discount could be offered at Pirate Leisure that day to coincide with game?
After all if you down town, you could unwittingly be financing a season ticket at Trashton, if the bar owner is of that persuasion.
Maybe those ITK could recommend this to Steve Hamer/Ian Holtby.

I would be up for it that's why I started the thread, but I don't think there seems to be that much interest? Which is a shame really but I will be surprised now if it comes off?
