I gather we are having problems getting a team to play us.
That is not to suggest that BRFC are not going to a training camp, just that we are struggling to find someone to play. |

From past experience I guess it's more than just an assumption by the OP, although didn't he say he wasn't planning on going anyway?

I was going to Barcelona/Faro but will not now be going, that is more to do with travel insurance problems.

Given I'm not a mind reader you must have posted it on here! It's just as well if what you are saying is true, but has anybody tweeted the club for their official response? Their answer will be that they are still trying to arrange a game.
It's a shame that we did not go back to Sabadell this season as they wanted to play us and DC was very happy with last years arrangements.
Being supposedly ITK is not always an advantage as what you know on a specific day can change very rapidly, as one or two on here have found to their cost.

Yes disappointed that the club choose not to go back Sabadell as it would have been as good link to have built upon, guess too many clubs touring Portugal this summer, just hope something is arranged for sake of those who have booked travel.

We were to play Sheffield Wednesday over there, but it was cancelled by them as they are looking for a higher profile fixture as it is their 150th anniversary apparently.
We have now appointed an agent to try and arrange a fixture, so heaven only knows who we might end up playing.

If we can't now fix up a game you can't disagree with that view, I see the OS just says a game against "opponents" so they could just fix up a game against a local side if necessary. |
