This season when they did bring a friend against Fleetwood I had to give up my seat in the east stand and go in the east terrace with him. Hang on a mo, you HAD to, wtf ? I'm not someone who goes out of my way to start aggro about seating etc but I am fecked if I'd give up my PAID FOR season ticket seat for that. There must be some contact where you are able to have that seat and because you paid out for it. I would be bloody furious to be bundled into the uncovered terracing. I feel gutted for you mate i am glad this was brought up as I don't think I can no longer stand for a whole game now so will sort something. I will stick on on a credit card. I assume the OP gave up his seat voluntary so he stand with his friend, rather than was forced to give it up by the club!

When I used the bring a friend deal I had to move a few rows down and along but was still seated in the Dribuild. I think they also let you bring a friend that can stand on their own if that's the way you want to play it!!

If you had a seat and you wanted to use the voucher to bring a friend free you could still sit in your seat and your friend stand.

It is a choice if you want to be with your friend but, if you do bring a mate the surely you would want to be with them, no ?

I'm a little old fashioned with some things so tend to save up before I buy! I do the same. My parents taught me that way. I never use a credit card unless I know I have the cash to cover it. I tend to use a card for the added insurance it gives but always have the money in my account to pay in full. I also then get the reward points for using the mbna card. I just got £100 from that. Just good old fashioned housekeeping

I've been a loyal Gashead for over 30 years but never been a season ticket holder and decided next season was the season I was going to purchase one
with the roller coaster ride of being a rovers supporter I felt that in all the years that now we have the financials & infrastructure to progress
in previous years we've enjoyed our ups and not so much downs but when we are on our ups you always felt the team/players/manager etc. would be dismantled for the inevitable to happen & drop back down
But now with all that's going on around the club I feel we are going to keep building & moving forward
most of the squad apart from the obvious are happy to stay. I know players can be fickle but we must be offering competitive contracts
and for DC legend already turned down the chance to go to Leeds to stay & build
IMO this is the best time to be a Gashead in my time and long may it continue
I ordered mine on the last offer day & I asked how many were sold I was told just under 5000 with a lot of existing season holders to still renew about 2000?
so hopefully could be a bumper season all round UTG

I'd imagine it will be a right pain to get matchday tickets for those that don't have a season ticket. Even away games will be a headache with those not going giving away their priority vouchers to strangers on facebook. Makes a joke of the system when people do that.

So potentially 7-8000 season tickets to be sold this summer (?) which means this seasons 9302 average could be broken . can Rovers break the five figure barrier and 10,022 of 1976 It will be a tough act to do as it will need to rely on decent away support all season as the mem has a limited capacity.
