"Safety Officer, Dave Parker, has the following advice for fans attending Sunday's fixture at the Mem against Millwall.
'This is for everyone's safety and to provide reassurance for fans especially in light of the recent terrorist related issues in the Greater London area over the last few days.
However please be reassured that BRFC are in contact with the police and there has been no intelligence forthcoming about a threat to the match.'"
Lol. Absolutely pathetic to put the terrorism spin on things. Grow up David.
No this is because all football fans are criminals and should be treated as such.

Bolders will try to go in and out 2 or 3 times as you can't beat a good intrusive frisking!

Will they be confiscating coins, or just those highly dangerous bottles of water?

What? Not even trouser snakes? Sounds a bit harsh. You need to keep an eye (japs) out for them, they can be quite nasty and they have been known to spit at you.

So why wasn't everybody searched at the last home game following the far more significant terrorist incident in London? I think it's safe to say a terrorist trying to get into the game on Saturday is going to stick out from a mile away.

I think it's safe to say a terrorist trying to get into the game on Saturday is going to stick out from a mile away. I think it's fair to say that this has diddly-squat to do with the "terrorist related issues" and entirely to do with the fact that Millwall still have a certain reputation coupled with whisperings of them buying tickets for home areas. I think that Mr Parker's reference to terrorism is actually incredibly crass and unnecessary.

I think that the main type of terrorist threatening British subjects these days would pick a football match last on their list. Millwall fans V a tourist area....hmmm. I mean, football fans have a tolerant attitude to islamofascists don't they? They are about the only bunch not so drunk on the smell of their own farts to stand up against it.
