Walking down Gloucester Rd and then Ashley Down Rd after the game we didn't see a single Millwall fan. Where did they go?
They just seemed to vanish into thin air! It certainly baffled and upset the large group of Rovers mobbers who seemed to have given up all hope of finding them as we passed through them by the Forresters on Ashley Down Rd.

They shat themselves after being confronted with the South Stand Ultras. They thought fu(k this and f*cked off back to Parkway as quick as they could.

Big gang kicking about on Filton ave after the lap of honour, wasn't sure if they were rovers or millwall. Slipped the police and went sprinting off down a side road off Gloucester Road. Seemed to be some shenanigans happening in the car park midway through the first half as well

Was anyone really expecting there to be trouble given that they won? Even the "well hard" Sh1!heads that attended, that like to act big behind their keyboards, kept their heads down. But thanks to all of those pricks that attended and felt the Rovers love so much that they happily parted with their dole money to come and watch us.

I'm guessing that if anything happened it would have been down Gloucester Road.

Which is going to be no good to the Evening Post's 'on the spot' reporters when they're trawling the forums for the bones of the 'Brave Police Battle Rioting Fans' piece that they're doubtless keen to print. If this is the best input we can provide then I imagine we've got a highly sensationalized version of 'Bored Police Encounter Two Motorbikes Chained Together' to look forward to later

Have they actually been reported missing? or just not been seen for a while? maybe we can put up some missing poster if it helps?

Probably straight in to the town centre I expect. Wouldn't want to be out in the centre tonight that's for sure.

I saw a film once, where whole groups of people were abducted into the future, to populate the the world due to impotence. Probably not that then.

I went from the East terrace to the West stand after the game to see an old colleague. Then left back through the car park. Surprised to see the Millwall lot just leaving, coaches, minibuses & walking, with huge police entourage. Marched slowly down Filton Avenue, holding up the traffic a treat.

Police reported no arrests before, during and after the game today. They escorted a large group of Millwall supporters back to Parkway on foot and praised supporters of both sides for their good humour and behaviour. The Bristol [City] Post will no doubt dig deeper to try and find the culprit who threw the blue flare!

We were in a car just in front of them on Filton Avenue, and they seemed good natured, at least initially.
I bet some of them arrived by car, but police policy is usually to escort all away fans to the nearest station after sensitive matches. Happened to us after a Swindon match a few years ago. Got kettled until everyone turned narky.

Turns out the Evening Post headline was actually 'Police use dogs to prevent pitch invasion after Bristol Rovers' match against Millwall'. I'm not giving them a link. Not if they'd rather draw eyeballs with a headline about a pitch invasion that didn't even happen instead of informing their readers that the match really was disrupted. For a millisecond. By an announcement that two motorbikes were chained together. To each other. The public deserves to know the truth about this shocking incident and not a blatant media cover-up!

That paper and all its associated papers are jokes, in Somerset the web paper regularly links to Dorset and Wiltshire news although they seem to think it is in Somerset! sure they think it's all the same place, its West of London from the Ivory Daily Mirror Towers!
