I've stood in the West the last three season, it's good for viewing, but feel detached from any atmosphere, you get to realise that the Thatchers End chants don't carry, mainly because they only sing one rendition of something, then stop, instead of trying to get the ground going! One other annoying thing I noticed, people who paid for the cheaper South End, can just walk into the West, some young lad and his dad gave this away vs Oldham by holding their season tickets in their hand. (Needs more bars to lean on too) Other than that, it's alright lol! the south stand isn't cheaper it's more expensive I know this because the west enclosure was sold out for Millwall so I had to buy a £21 south stand ticket to get in the west 😂

Try the East terrace...right down by the south stand. Usually plenty of space.
The only problem I find is that it always seems to be different people there each week and they never seem to join in with goodnight irene and sometimes I struggle to understand some people.

Thats exactly where I stand Costa I'll give you shout first game of next season or I could wear a nice pink carnation? But your right some good witty banter especially when the linesman is a knob which as you know is quite regular.

From my experience;
Best Atmosphere: Thatchers End (in the centre) Best View: West Stand posh seats Full of wannabe managers: Drilbuild Terrace behind the dugouts Stone Island Hooligan congregation:Thatchers End Full of moaning pricks: Thatchers End Worst Atmosphere: Dribuild Seats
I got invited to watch the game from a box once, got watered, can't remember much of the game and haven't been invited back since!

I couldn't care less where you end up, just as long as you're as far away from the South stand as possible... I hear there are a few empty good seats at Trashton...... Worth considering...

Same but in line with the six yard box...... great place to sing "We're getting wet" or to burn your head dependant on the weather. Easy access to bar, pasties and bogs, don't get to go as often as I like but always made welcome, good level of abuse to the officials too !

East Terrace, level with the six yard box, great view, good banter and irregulars made welcome. Easy access to food, drinks and toilets (in that order). You can also attempt to look cool in your shades, with plenty of sun cream and yes you can give the assistant referee plenty of earache.
