haha, there will be so many streams of this I bet they regret doing it....
all very well for sold out premier and euro matches but when 8000 of us are illegally watching a match at bury you've got to question the ethics of this....

Having just returned to the London after seven years living in India and Singapore (kept my Dribuild stand season ticket throughout and came back for as many games as I could) this would have enhanced my Saturday evenings a lot. Weekday games would have been a killer though remembering how long it took me to recover from watching the Rovers cup game against Cardiff last season which was on TV in Singapore and started something like 3am in the morning.

Ha brilliant, and just to add insult to injury it went to extra time! Mind you it was probably worth staying up for to see Lines goal. I really enjoyed it living in Cardiff and especially as the missus is a Cardiff supporter, tidy result butt.

Could go a long way in building our fan base in Jordan. It could be a very good revenue stream. Wael mentioned in a tweet a while ago so I'm sure they've got plans for it.

So is it the same price for Championship, Div 1 & Div 2 football?
"Kicking off at the start of the 2017/18 EFL season, overseas subscribers will pay the equivalent of £110 per season for the service which will provide coverage of up to 46 live games per club."
Can we just set up a VPN in England and then pay £110 to now watch every Rovers game home and away live?

All may well be tongue in cheek, but why would you want to rip off your own club? 🤔

All may well be tongue in cheek, but why would you want to rip off your own club? 🤔 Why would paying them £110 to watch all the away games be ripping them off, when they'd get 100% of the money unlike they get from away ticket sales? Although the EFL clubs are opening up the chance to be ripped off.

That's not what he suggested. He said he could set up a fake account using a non UK IP address, PAY the full cost and then watch Rovers away games online.

Hopefully we will have the option of getting up at a reasonable time and watching recorded live. Too many 2am to 4 am kick offs can be punishing. $200 though ! that's one an a half fkin sheep.

Even if there are loads of illegal streams, I don't think it will hurt the clubs much. At our level more soI think those that go away will always go away and there will always be an in built fanbase at clubs. Obviously there will be people with money issues that can't make every home game, but I don't see say a Rochdale fan not going to Spotland because he can watch a dodgy stream on the internet.
It's the top end of the game where TV companies are shelling out big money that streaming 'hurts' If every one didn't pay for the TV subscriptions they wouldnt have viewers and then no money to give to the clubs

Will be hard for them to make this as secure as possible. The free VPN I use connects you to either the UK or US. So anyone can connect to the US one, for example, and sign up. Another question, does any of this £110 go to the club? I dont want my money lining Shaun Harvey's filthy pockets! Will be able to watch all Saturday matches. Some weeknight games will be a little too late for me.
