I wasn't aware of that, BB. Very interested nt as I had assumed that Newport were gone some weeks ago. It was a bit of a surprise watching Final Score yesterday to see that Hartlepool are down. I suspect LL played a very big part in Newports survival.
That s one of the great things about doing well in league 1, I have bothered very little with League 2 except for who may be getting promoted. I think P'mouh and Muff will provide 4 interesting localish Derbys next season.
How many weeks?

6/1 for DC to go to Wigan only Uwe Rosler and Nathan Jones have shorter odds. Nathan Jones you've been gone too long - Bannanarama Supremes first

Promotion, JPT Final and an FA Cup Quarters on the CV of someone who can't manage. Really? LL was undoubtedly an important member of the management team which was led by PT. Prior to PT's final season, the budget was cut drastically which clearly had a disastrous effect on the club. Clearly regrettable decisions were made in terms of recruitment but that doesn't take away his achievements. It was always my impression that the management team was very much led by LL. P T always seemed a step or two behind, basically doing as he was told. I always remember how LL said he advised the BOD to invest £50 k on David Pipe. I wondered at the time who was really running the show. PT returned to management with Cardiff after some years as Hughtons No2 at a couple of fairly large and successful clubs. He was also an International teams No 2. The sort of grounding that would surely equip him with the skills to be a successful No 1. Remind me how that ended will you? Remind me of how DC's first 12 games with us ended up?
