So you know WAQ singed him, and you know that Hargreaves isn't happy about it, and Darrell doesn't approve of the signing, or are you just making stuff up? Wael signed him 100% doesn't take a genius to work that out, I never once said DC or Hargreaves wasn't happy about it . I haven't made anything up funny enough you have in that post unless you can show me where I said they weren't happy with it? How do you know he didn't run a video of the lads games past DC and maybe DC said yeah he looks ok let's give him contract with the u-23s see how it goes. To say it's 100% Wael signing and nothing to do with DC doesn't take a genius to work out is pure speculation unless you've spoken to either of them I guess your as much in the dark as snyone else ?

Feck me, he's done well in such a short space of time......... just to evaluate the relevance I googled my own name and apparently I'm a megastar actor in Bollywood..... I think it's fair to assume it's a coincidence.... Gregsalman Khan?

Al Qadi had a bigger vision while investing in a club in the city on the Avon, one that would benefit his countrymen.
He said: "Part of the reason why we have a football club in the UK is to try to offer Jordanian talents the opportunity to play abroad. That's what Japan did 20 years ago when they were exploring sending their players to Europe to gain experience."

Given he's still awaiting international clearance I assume they are both in Jordan but there's little point him in being here until pre-season starts. I doubt he'll get clearance or a work visa, as you need to be a regular international player playing for a top 50 Fifa ranked country. Jordan are currently ranked at 109th. These are the current criteria. Internationally established at the highest level”; and “whose employment will make a significant contribution to the development of their sport at the highest level” I personally would welcome him and wish him every success, our current immigration policy doesn't agree with me however.

I m sure there's some educational/ student development criteria that enables learn as you play at non first team level. That would at least cover the initial period where both parties can see if they are liking it. Remember Marcus Andreasson and Baldvinsson both returned homesick pretty soon (at least Marcus came back again!)

Good luck to the lad - a big ask but great experience for him. Same age as Sweeney & JCS. Hope he's as good as Sweeney and better than JCS (captain of England's under 20's I think).

gregsalman khant thank you very much My suspicion is your'e googled name is an Eastern European gangmaster or pornstar Just a little image that popped into my mind I would like to go on record to welcome him to the fair city of Bristol and especially the Gas; I predicted a meltdown on social media and some aspects of this thread are leading that way.

Still surprised people making this out to be our first Proper first team signing. He is going to be with the youth sides. Purely an academy signing.
Look forward to Darrell Clarke presenting us with the first First team signing of the season and then the 10 other that he would like to sign.

He will be a 1st year pro and as it said in the article he'll be in the U23 squad.

Talking of Luke James, this Jordanian lad has only been here 5 minutes and already is level on goals with Luke.

It would be like having Job interviews then giving the job to the only guy who has turned up no matter how bad they are... well kind of
