By the sound of it either Harrison or Gaffney or both will be on their way. The players themselves will feel uncomfortable with what he has said because neither do very well at anything he said he wants out of the three front players. Will be very surprised if both are with us next season - doesn't look as though they are in his plans, particularly if he gets the players in he wants.

I actually like them both!! UTG

Sounds like a DC man
He left the club at the end of the season and re-joined Salisbury City under their new manager, Darrell Clarke.[16] He became a utility player for the club, playing in a variety of places all over the pitch, before featuring on a regular basis at centre back – making the position his own. After the temporary departure of Salisbury captain Chris Giles, the Salisbury manager Darrell Clarke gave the honour of club captain to Dutton, who led Salisbury to the Conference South after a play-off final victory against Hednesford Town on penalties. He was rewarded with a new contract and club captaincy, Dutton went on to captain Salisbury to yet another promotion once again via the play offs, the final this time was against Chris Kinnear's Dover Athletic. Salisbury won the final in extra time, which meant Salisbury had earned promotion to the Conference National, the league they had been thrown out of three seasons earlier and Dutton had managed two promotions in the two seasons he was captain at the club.

He mentioned what he wants that he hasn't got. Not what he considers he already has. If either of them fails to sign then it's four (or five) strikers he needs...and extra attributes such as tireless running, working the channels, creating space for others, holding the ball up and defending set pieces, and having a pop from anywhere.

I understand he wants another 3 forwards on top of Gaffney and Harrison. DC said Gaffney wasn't a million miles away from signing his contract offer. Interesting he wasnt happy with two players away at Shrewsbury, and took them off at HT. The GPS tracker showed neither had made a sprint in the first half. (Colkett and Boateng)

More on Brian Dutton:-
Was back at Salisbury on loan again this season from Eastbourne, lives in Winchester near Darrell & off the pitch, Dutton coaches at Sparsholt Academy and holds a UEFA A licence coaching badge.
Sounds like a good capture.

Gotta love his ruthlessness. Not have loanees taking the water out of us
