When we signed Ricky Lambert he was pretty much an unknown journeyman. He turned into that wonderful specimen at Rovers. I am ready to be shot down in flames but I seriously think that Rory Gaffney will come good this coming season. He has undoubted skill, pace and a powerful physical presence, a bit like Lambert, but seemed woefully lacking in confidence last season. He misses Lambert deadball abilities, or needs to develop them. I hope does anyway. I think I am right in saying that last season was Gaffney's first full season as a professional the boy will be an asset i'm sure

I'd rather have the shag (with the wife not Gaffers!!) and let him go shopping/be forced to watch soaps/listen to sh** conversations/put up with the kids instead.

Cracking interview so far, would recommend tuning in if you haven't already! Looking to bring in: 2 keepers One left back Dominant left footed centre half Defensive midfielder Attacking midfielder Left winger 3 centre forwards Got his first choice in mind for each and a couple of 2nd choices if he has to. Made it clear he now wants investment in the team. Wants a top 10 budget. Aim is the Championship That's pretty unequivocal then. Maybe a back me or get ready to lose me statement?

How do you remember stuff like this? I can't remember what I did yesterday FFS.

IT seems to me that Gaschat is the easiest place to start a fight in an empty room! In fairness, it's a LOT better than when I last posted here. Pleasantly surprised. Credit where it's due
