If billy left in the summer (strong feeling it could happen)obviously everyone would be devastated would you blame him or the club??? Depends how much we let him go for. He does only have a year left but we need to make a statement that we aren't a selling club. Anything less than £500k and I would be disappointed. Apparently the reason a lot of championship clubs wouldn't sign Taylor is because he is the sort of striker that needs to play as part of 2 up front and a lot of teams in the championship don't play like that anymore. They will have say 1 up front then the 3 behind. Based on this, he could be in high demand from a championship club as he would be very useful on the right hand side.

Has there got to be blame? Absolutely, you must know by now that we as fans operate a completely "blame free culture". Sack the Board/Manger/Fans Director and uncle tom cobbledy and all If a serious offer was tabled and it was good for the Club and player, then I for one would be disappointed but not blame anyone.

Selling the best players isn't best for the club

i would like to think we have offered him a new contract, we should let our most valuable assets have less than a year left.

When we got him he was on the scrap heap, Now he is worth £1m. That's good business for the club

Selling the best players isn't best for the club It is if he wants to go. No point holding anyone back in life as you'll never get the best out of them once they've made their choice if the club let's them go or not.

we must do the utmost to keep the best players but if they want to go that's a different story I would like to think that the bod and management can persuade the best players to stay

Selling the best players isn't best for the club If he goes for £40m it probably is.

On second thoughts is £500k too cheap? I've lost any real perspective of a player's worth now, figures seem all over the place these days.

I think so, how many 25 year old left footed winger scoring 13 goals in a season. We should be offering him a good Contract so at least clubs have to work to get him. Really like Billy, only hope he likes being with us and wants to stay for at least another season.

He's my favourite player if we lose him after losing Taylor then we are really going to need to work hard in the market to bring in some quality to replace those two😞.

If billy left in the summer (strong feeling it could happen)obviously everyone would be devastated would you blame him or the club??? Why a strong feeling? He's our player under contract. Unless anyone offers a lot of money (£3m+), we shouldn't entertain letting him go.
