The B Post has a short video with a ground guide for next season in L1.
Our capacity at 12,300 is now the 14th biggest in L1. 6 out of the 7 new clubs for 2017-18 have higher capacities.
Just highlights again our need to get a new stadium (especially with crowds rising too).
There are quite a few with lower capacities which also have all-seater or mainly seated-stadia.

It's not just the capacity or even number of seats. The place is a dump! You get soaked. The toilets are abysmal. It's old and cr4p.

But the stadium needs to be paid for by someone, if, and it's a big if, the UWE is not feasible then Plan B needs to be either a redevelopment of the Mem, or a smaller stadium elsewhere we can actually afford to build.

If the new owners weren't able or didn't want to fund a new stadium or mem redevelopment that they would have known was needed they shouldn't have bought the club.

It may be but its our home and I love it , I also loved Eastville and Twerton would rather have a good old fashioned ground like those with a great atmosphere than some of the plastic palaces that are going up now , just hope we get the final plans correct and we have a stadium with atmosphere
By the way the new ground
One End called Eastville - with the Tote end in it Opposite end called Twerton One side called The memorial and the fourth open for discussion

All true but I love the Mem because of all of its faults, they add character which a lot of grounds lack these days.
We do need a new stadium to progress and attract new generations of fans but it will be a sad day for me if/when we have to wave goodbye. I first started supporting Rovers during the Twerton years and the day we start playing home games in a shiny new stadium will be weird because I'm used to slumming it and enjoying it.
