Let’s switch this round. We’re a very angry, feel deceived, f**ked off angry bunch of gas heads....
Changed my mind about writing a essay. I can’t be arsed. Got my season ticket, will get behind the team/club but it needs to stop being 1 way.
Don’t like g.c. Don’t like the bacardies. Not really liking football at the mo.

Fantastic match and World Cup. I put a tenor on New Zealand before the World Cup started to win it. It was a win win game for me. Watched Somerset tie a county match last season. I don’t like cricket, I loves it. Ban me don’t care 🏴🏴🏴🏏🏏🏏🏆🏆🏆

Well I didn't go to any last year and I wont be going this year, not even for a box seat and a free pasty I turned down a free box for a game. Felt really pleased with myself after the conversation. Wasnt a polite thanks but no thanks, but a full reason why he shouldn’t go either. He went and I never let him forget it.

My position, for what it's worth, is that I didn't go the first year of the Checkatrade as it seemed a bit micky mouse. On reflection that seemed to only hurt my club through lack of revenue. So I go now and in all honesty enjoyed the games and the laid back atmosphere. It seemed to be a nice contrast to the league games which were pretty bleak, played in a fairly unpleasant atmosphere. It was clear to me that the club was up a particular creek without a paddle financially and couldn't miss an opertunity to raise some extra cash. As for the U21 teams entering the competition being the thin end of the wedge, that wedge sailed years ago. The formation of the Premier league and the disparity in income distribution saw to that. The English football World no longer affords clubs the chance to move through the leagues without massive injections of cash relative to their league status. If we were ever to get into the championship our turnover would probably have to quadruple to have a chance of establishing ourselves there. So without outside gifted investment that just isn't happening. So I'll carry on supporting my club in whatever competition unless it's, genuinely, morally wrong as it will help to ensure the short term stability of the club. If others don't want to it really doesn't bother me as the games under the so called boycott were quite enjoyable. So if fans don't like the EFL Trophy that's fine but don't imagine it's got anything to do with the demise of the lower leagues, Sky and the Premier league saw to that years ago. Your right about sky and the premier league, however that has passed this is now. We didn’t want them in our competition but they are here now. Next step is to introduce them to the league as was proposed a few years ago. Since then they have snuck in through the back door with there wads of cash and bribed there way in. It needs to end now before it goes to the next step.

The biggest away following, apart from Sunderland, in the EFL Trophy was for West Ham U21 game last year and they brought quite a few. Football in this country long ago sold out to the Sky Dollar. Sadly no one really gives a toss about the lower league clubs now apart from the few that turn out. The EFL Trophy is merely a symptom of the problem that Sky and the Premier League have created. It's not just football. It's hard to believe that this country is currently hosting the World Cup in one of our National Sports and you'd hardly notice it unless you follow Cricket and subscribe to Sky Sports. The cricket World Cup is a farce in itself, as who's really interested in a tournament lasting, it seems, the whole of the summer. I’m interested in it. It lasts 6 weeks. It’s 2 weeks in to the tournament and summer starts in a week. You get to the final you play 11 games. How many games to get to the football World Cup (yes I said that on a football forum) final? 7 maybe. P.s Boycott this competition. Shame on any of you who continue support this shambles of a farce. Start supporting our clubs future not the premier league clubs future.

Very good player when in form and given a run in the team. Very passionate body language on the field, perticularly wasnt afraid to show his frustration to his own weakness. He put in some awesome crosses at a time when no 1 was good enough up front to be in the right position. Put in some awful crosses. Best days are past him now and a good move for him. Best of luck joe. Loved your passion. When’s Lockyer joining you.

All I know Nobby is the 6ft 6 bald man has rumoured to have entered the country, not sure which direction he’s heading though, undercover Dutch assassin. But then again I could be a Banned word on this 😂🙈 Well, I'm not the the 6' 6" bald man. I am 6' 1" and have a full head of Californian Sun Bleached hair, which I toss on a regular basis. That's narrowed the field a bit. So, which one of you is 6' 6"? Keith the chimp.

Wael Al-Qadi owes the staff, players, shareholders and supporters an explanation as to why Bristol Rovers seems to have come off the rails. Hugely in debt and no sign of the stadium which Nick Higgs and Ed Ware had worked so hard to bring about, a derelict training ground, and it seems, the momentum in promotion which had existed just evaporated. Will Wael Al-Qadi turn up next week to the AGM and give us some answers to the many questions which do need a response? Or will he be missing as per recently on the internet where he was once so prolific? Given the meeting next week appears to be an exclusive club. If you don’t get the answers/clarification you are seeking will you finally: A. Reveal all that you (claim to) know. Or B. Complain that the people you wanted to ask questions to, wasn’t in attendance. You’ve got plenty questions, I got 1 for you......., What will be your 1st 3 most important questions that you will be quizzing the unknown Panal. 1st question can’t be, where’s waely. Joking a side ( though it weren’t funny), Serious question. P.s No what’s happening with training ground, no what’s the long term plan. None of that fannying about. You got gripe. Let’s her it. Your 3 questions that mean the most to you.

Me personally so far what’s happened is for the good. Sincs - not up to league one anymore Lines - in his twilight years he’s league 2 quality Leads - confidence blown and injury prone Locks - makes too many mistakes and his style of play is a big reason we struggle in this league J Clarke - he’s had his best season for him but that’s still way off top 8 league one level Smith - can’t command his box to save his life and way too erratic Slocs - not happy at number 2 but not good enough to be no 1 We needed a big clear out and to be honest we still need to shed 4 more players to bring in some quality So why does Lockyer think he is going to a Championship or L1 promotion team??? The rest I agree on. No idea why Lockyer thinks that. Loaned out to Walsall in January if he signs for any of them 2 options.

Probably our player of the season in my view. Covered the whole back 4 positions without looking out of position, and was probably our most consistent player despite this.
Huge loss.

Definitely a golden age. The guy gave us our ‘Rovers back’ at by far our lowest of the many lows. Have we forgot the songs of anger when he took over? The genuine tears from someone who felt it was all his fault. The flyers at the training ground? Motivation. The dog$hit start and the hostility (I was part of it) to Start well. The turning point “for me” was the Gateshead game. The beards rising. What happened from that night sparked or ignited a club that needed that injection. We carried the momentum for 3 season and he returned us to normality from oblivion. My biggest regret is he wasn’t given January. The absolute minimum we owed our saviour. Now he’s gone it really feels like he’s took away a massive part of us. “For me”. Definitely a golden era, and probably our most important manager ever. D.c always in my dreams.
