Well done to those who have put in a SUPPORT comment to BCC Planning. Please remember to select SUPPORT. One very positive comment has been marked as NEUTRAL. Another 30 or 40 Support comments today would be really valuable. DO IT. Even if you have already commented, there is no reason why you cannot send another one. I did.
There were around 8000 Rovers fans at the game yesterday. Imagine if just a quarter of those sent in a supporting comment, it would make a massive difference.
Go on, get your husband/wife/mum/dad/son/daughter/nephew/niece/anyone you know to send in a comment. It is so easy and your personal details (name, address etc) don't get published anywhere. You don't have to live local for it to count.
As Sir Trev said above, DO IT.

Yeah I agree, not sure what the bloke who built a train track under a tree was thinking. Brunel was a city fan Nah. He was dead long before 1982.

Is she still with the club? Haven't seen her for a couple of games. It looks like she's now only doing the low profile games like the pizza trophy matches. She was there on Saturday.

Has anyone else who was still waiting for their pack still not received it? Going into mid October this is pretty poor of the club in my opinion. Zilch so far.

Well, now I am really dazed and confused, as the great song goes. Not sure if this helps, hinders or whatever…. but I renewed ST back in April (9th) when they were first out there and got an email from TM (pretty quickly tbf) saying, (in so many words), that all was renewed, quoted my existing ticket number, cost etc ..all correctly. Did that not happen for everyone else renewing? Probably a silly question but I be right befuddled…easily done though….🫣 I renewed on 5th April, received a receipt from Ticketmaster immediately for the transaction with all relevant details on it. I then received the email from the club a few days ago saying my card had been reactivated for the new season. Thats exactly the same as me, Bideford. I haven't had an E ticket either.
Think I'll send a couple of e-mails tomorrow, to individuals at the club to try to find out what the hell is going on.

Season ticket renewal prices have now been removed from the article on the Rovers website. that's a relief, i could not see the prices anywhere and thought i was going mad! when i click the link to buy, i can't see anything other than tickets for the remaining games?? Phew! Me too. Was beginning to think these senior moments were clicking-in a bit too often now.

Maybe they are going to bolt some seats onto the terraces of the old Family area on the West side?

Yep...he's from the South end of Newcastle. Lives in Southend then if we're being pedantic. Actually, lives in Southampton.

Why not have a design to mirror 1952/53 kit. Quarters all round, white shorts black and blue socks. As shown here www.historicalkits.co.uk/Bristol_Rovers/Bristol_Rovers.htmThis was the season Geoff Bradford scored record 33 goals in a season and Rovers were champions Also would be in recognition of Geoff as First Rovers Hall of Fame recipient this year. I would also like a new club badge NO yellow I.e. blue white and black only colours in same theme as kit. Probably for another time as rebranding has a cost.. That would be better next season when it will be 50 years 50 years?

That was a bit of disappointing result.... when we came out 2nd half I thought we were bright and was going to go on and win it but we then seem to fade after Rodders went off injured.... As the game wore on in the last 10 it was Wimbledon in the ascendancy but luckily Day pulled of some great saves.... a win was preferential but at least we didn’t lose.... we really need to grab a win Tues if we don’t want to get sucked back into the bottom 4 and mire...According to these stats the last time we won at the Valley was in 1929!!! www.11v11.com/teams/charlton-athletic/tab/opposingTeams/opposition/Bristol%20Rovers/According to that list we won there on 6 Dec 1958.

Was Tillson assistant to Tisdale for his whole time at Exeter? Wikipedia doesn't mention if he followed him to MK Dons. Does anyone know what he's doing at the moment? Probably having his tea.

I watched it on Quest last night and they said "he has a record of scoring 4 goals in 83 league games". What other club would put up with that? As for his contract, I was told 3 and 1/2 years when he signed. Why don't we give him to Walsall? Nobody who signs in the summer has an odd half year tagged on to their contract.

I think the issues with a lot of fans towards gc isn't down to one particular thing but lots of small things added together. 1. They have a issue with the style of play. 2. He took over from a very popular manager. 3. He was seen as a cheap replacement, which showed little ambition from the club 4. The whole episode with lines left a sour taste in the mouth for many 5. Creative players were needed and none were signed. Whatever their issues it will take time and more wins to make them come back. Im sure that those that choose the stay away at the moment dont support the club any less than other. Just maybe they feel a little let down with one too many false dawns. Success and climbing the table will always increase crowds no matter who is in charge. 1. It isn’t free flowing football, but I don’t and haven’t seen much of that in the league this year so far, with the exception of Blackpool. But we were poor that day and made them look good too. Our style of play is organised, dogged and effective. We are 8th not 20th. 2. DC was popular I will grant you. But his tenure was always going to come to an end and he isn’t bigger than BRFC. We have to get over that relationship now. 3. Fair point, but the other candidate was Steve Cotterill, there was no other good candidates. GC had only just missed out on 2 other opportunities and it isn’t the first time we have appointed a rookie gaffer. 4. Line and GC didn’t get on. I will admit it was pretty classless by GC not to just toe the line (excuse the pun) for one game. That said, Lines isn’t bigger than BRFC and he has now left. 5. That is because SCMP dictates we can’t unless a few of our big earners move on. That isn’t GCs fault. The club also need to curtail the overall budget losses at the club to get it to a more sustainable footing. A big part of that budget is gate revenue. It’s a vicious circle. BRFC has been a L1 club for the majority of its history. We have only been a L1 club for 5 of the last 19 years. The brief this year is stability and rebuild. But I really do think that if we can keep JCH we have a good chance of the top 6. It’s a shame we have lost young Hare lately. You mean Josh Leveret, right? 🐰😁
