When they say the south end of the east stand is next, does that mean extracting the section of stand that currently sits within the south stand and plonking it on the away terrace? I’m totally underwhelmed by anything that’s not a wholesale redevelopment of the mem (which is not my preferred location, but then you’ll never please everyone). Even something done in stages so that ultimately it looks like one complete stadium. All I can picture from this info is lots of makeshift stands similar to those we’ve seen dotted around the ground previously. To quote Paul Buckle, I feel we’re being told to lower our expectations…

Given the ambition coming out of the club (I know talk is cheap), I’d be disappointed with most of the names being mentioned. We were prepared to splash the cash on JCH, we have to be ready to at least try to lure a next level manager. That’s not Karl Robinson or a Cowley brother! Something out of left field here wouldn’t surprise me…

The worst thing about our current badge is the terrible font. They seem to have taken this as a staring point and built a terrible design around it. And no quarters on the badge? I needed convincing of a skull based design. I haven’t been with this! Not a fan of the new breed of dull, simplistic badges. Sad to see us go down this route. It’s a no from me.

Decent comments at the end fair play, the cobnlers fan behind kept checking his phone unbelievable jeff! That makes up for the heartache at sixfields when we lost 3 0 UTG That was one of my first thoughts. I reckon it was 1998! Only 24yrs coming!

Time for someone to step up and be a hero! Loft to raise the roof? Don’t tempt fate. Wait til rafter he scores.

Cheers timsbury. We could car pool, I only live round the corner in Clutton! Swing by Radstock on the way for me lads. £12.60 return to temple meads from Frome. Free parking. Leave at lunchtime, time for a pint after and home before 7. What’s not to like?!

Really hoped it would have worked out for him. Disappointed, but the right decision.
Danny Cowley early second favourite behind Tommy W. Paul Cook behind them in third. GC only slightly further back!

Don’t worry everyone, Tommy W has had a look at who’s left at Coventry and one of their strikers will be on their way down shortly!

I remember the Hartlepool beam back game where we needed a win for the play offs in 07. Jugs of beer on the Blackthorn, we got soaked when Rickie nodded in late on!

Coming in along the A4 it has to be the fruit market for me. Plus I see my chances of attending increasing if the wife drops me off and spends the afternoon in town! After that anything on the ring road would make life easier than the mem!

Do training grounds generally have clever names or even attract big sponsorship deals for naming rights (outside the stupidly big clubs?). Beyond being named after the area where they are based/something relating to a past use (ie The Colony), I don’t see anything particularly creative being used elsewhere!

Who’d have thought back in mid-December we’d be playing this game at the start of March?!

71/72 season and I don’t know which match! This is one of my great disappointments in life, I can’t remember my first match, everyone else does, why can’t I!!! I can’t either. It was either Northampton or Fulham. Or possibly Port Vale! 87 or 88.

It’s going to be an interesting January. He may claim to not want to fix what isn’t broken (wisely imo), but to translate a strong position at Christmas into promotion in May requires strengthening. I’m sure even Wycombe will be doing so. Will be interesting to see what his list of contacts unearths!

Who is that person to his right in the group picture on the website? Must be a new signing for the club. I was wondering that too. Thought we’d signed Richard Keyes!

Ticket bought for only my second game of the season!! Part timer. I thought I was being quite brave, given the forecast I’m expecting the blanket to come out. It always makes me feel a little uneasy if I’m honest. Please keep your hands on show this time!

Weve turned down initial approach? Lol. I'd say the approach has already been made and the deal done. Lol Just your standard managerial poaching dance!
