Midnight kick off for me. At least I don’t have to worry about VPNs! Last time we went up automatically I had to resort to a feed via FB from a fan in Thatchers end, which was lost in the chaos following Lee Brown’s goal. So happy that I can watch properly on iFollow. Let’s hope we can do it! UTG.

Born in Bradford-on-Avon, raised in Bath, lived in Wells for many years, then Andover, moved to Brisbane November last year. Struggle to watch 3pm kick-offs on ifollow as its 1am here, but manage to watch a few evening kick offs as that’s about 6am.
Live near to Suncorp Stadium where the mighty Brisbane Roar play, managed by Robbie Fowler. 12k average attendance in a 52k stadium, terrible atmosphere, no away support (due to distance between the teams) and awful standard. On the upside it’s sunny and you can drink beer while watching the match. Would swap for west enclosure and bovril in a heartbeat though.

So, UWE were waiting for Rovers to issue heads of terms , which they have not received. Instead we have pulled the plug and UWE claim not to know the reason. If true, this for me was the most worrying statement as it implies there was sufficient common ground for the HoTs to be drafted, and we were in control of that drafting, but have decided not to proceed.

For anyone living East of J12 of the M4 (and attending the Shrewsbury match next Saturday) please note closure of the M4 between J12 & J13 next weekend. This is one of four weekend closures over the next couple of months, the last of which may impact our travel to the Play off final!
UTG
M4 Junctions 12 to 13: Bridge Refurbishment
I am writing to provide an update to the programme and additional traffic management information for the bridge refurbishment works taking place along the M4 near Bradfield.
As previously advised, long-term monitoring has found that the two bridges which carry the M4 over Ashampstead Road and Dark Lane, near Bradfield in West Berkshire, require extensive repair due to chloride-induced corrosion. Critical repairs are required to address the defects and ensure the structures remain in a safe and serviceable condition.
WEEKEND CLOSURES
The programme of weekend closures of the M4 has been revised to not only avoid bank holidays but also the school Easter half term holiday, where traffic flows may increase along the M4. The closures are now currently scheduled to take place from 9pm Friday through to 6am on Monday on the following weekends:
• Friday 31 March to Monday 3 April 2017
• Friday 5 May to Monday 8 May 2017
• Friday 12 May to Monday 15 May 2017
• Friday 19 May to Monday 22 May 2017 (contingency weekend only)
During these closures a clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A4 (through Newbury, Thatcham and Woolhampton).
Confirmed dates for these closures will be displayed in advance on signs along the M4.
Significant delays are expected during these weekend closure periods, and it is advised that you plan ahead of your journey to allow for extra time or avoid this route where possible.

Hello Ben, I work for a US corporation with offices in Rochester NY, a city I have visited many times now. It's a great area and one that I really enjoy visiting. Next time I'm over I might have a drive out and visit your town. UTG

Yeah, been a few times but not impressed. Having said that I have completed the Reading Half Marathon several times, and the finish in the stadium is pretty special.

If I was Higgs I would definitely appeal. I have often wondered how we know the judges are "fair?" For all we know she may have shares in Sainsburies Having read the whole thing (and understanding some of it), there's little or no point as far as I can see...the ballgame was lost on 26th Sept 2013 when: I'm surprised Sainsbury's didn't pull the plug 20 working days after that, because they knew by that point they didn't want the site and didn't want to build the store. It seems like we then spent 6-9 months trying desperately to keep them onside (even though we knew they didn't really want it any more either) and the next next 9 months building up to the inevitable lawsuit. And this is where the issue lies. Under [2.11] Sainsbury’s were obliged to submit an Appeal if Planning Counsel (instructed by Sainsbury’s) gave an opinion that there was a 60% chance of success. This obligation was traded away by us agreeing that the granted permission was a deemed Planning Refusal. Sainsbury’s did submit an appeal, but it was at a politically difficult time (JR + Local elections) and they knew the likelihood of success was low. We also signed off on the appeal content which subsequently blew out of the water any complaint we had over its quality. By submitting the appeal Sainsbury’s argued that they had completed their contractual obligations. When we forced them to revisit the situation by the injunction earlier this year, they then obtained Planning Counsel opinion that the revised submission had only a 55% chance of success, meaning under the letter of the contract[2.11] they were not required to submit a further Appeal. The fact that our Counsel considered we had a better than 60% chance, which was later proven, was irrelevant. The whole subject is also complicated by the definition of Appeal. I really believe Sainsbury’s got lucky in exiting the contract. Given the quality of drafting (of which the judge was critical) I do not believe this was a work of genius on Sainsbury’s part.

I know nothing of the ins and outs of this, however, damages is not the only remedy for breach of contract. The courts have the ability to grant an equitable remedy(Specific Perfomance) that compels a party to perform the contract according to its terms, in order that justice is done. This may be used, at the courts discretion, where monetary damages are inadequate. I'm not suggesting that this would necessarily be the outcome, however, it is a route that may be pursued if the planning application successful and Sainsburys do not honour the terms of the contract. Time is our biggest enemy; the wheels of justice turn very slowly.
