I've had had some luck with Tom Gorringe. I finally got a reply and he told me that if I gave him my mates contact details, he would get Chloe Monks to ring them and sort them out tomorrow. I've done that, so I would suggest any season ticket holder who hasn't got a ticket, should contact them by e-mail and give them a phone number. Worth trying......then they might actually understand the scale of the problem they created? Their e-mails are ChloeMonks@bristolrovers.co.uk and TomGorringe@bristolrovers.co.uk. Just an add on to this. My mates waited until 11:30 to get a call, gave up and went to the ground, waited for about an hour and finally got tickets. There was just one person dealing with all of the people enquiring about tickets and according to them she looked like 'an 18 year old trainee'. They think she was chosen because people would be scared of getting done for 'child abuse' if they had a go at her? However they did get tickets, but were afraid that by mid-afternoon there would be none left. Mid afternoon I think most of you must have got the following update? "At 7pm today, Wednesday 10th January, we will be taking tickets for our game versus Norwich off-sale. From here, we will be reassessing the total amount of tickets we have remaining. If you still have not managed to purchase a ticket, please email ethanclarke@bristolrovers.co.uk by 10am tomorrow, Thursday 11th January. Please provide details of your issue and a contact number. We will ensure that all of these requests are dealt with before tickets go back on sale." Good luck anyone who hasn't got a ticket!

I don't think anyones criticising you for buying tickets, if they're available. That isn't the problem. The problem is that the club screwed up and sold season ticket holders tickets to you, and others, ahead of them, and that many 'part time' supporters got a ticket ahead of regulars i.e. Season Ticket holders. What the club do to put it right is for them to work out. Something which they have so far tried, and failed dismally, to do. We hope they might learn from this debacle, but I doubt it. I was talking with my season ticket holder mate (who still hasn't got a ticket) and we were laughing because we expected them to screw this up! ‘Part time’ supporters are very important too you know, not everyone is able to purchase a Season Ticket due to many, many reasons. They are no lesser a Gashead than a ST Holder 👍🏾 You are right! Perhaps I should have said 'fair weather supporters'. The ones who come out of the woodwork when things are looking good, but don't come along when things are going badly.

Let me get this straight. I have taken the mickey out of fellow rovers supporters, for visiting the official website and buying a ticket? You won't convince me I've done anything wrong! I haven't followed the thread all day so hopefully it’s sorted now but you can't blame punters for buying available tickets online. The club needs to look after reservations and allocations, it doesn't self police. I agree. When I go to the club shop on Thursday am I supposed to say “oh , before you give me a ticket can you make sure all ST holders have got one if they want one, otherwise I will decline, and take my rightful place awaiting confirmation they are all catered for” 😂 I don't think anyones criticising you for buying tickets, if they're available. That isn't the problem. The problem is that the club screwed up and sold season ticket holders tickets to you, and others, ahead of them, and that many 'part time' supporters got a ticket ahead of regulars i.e. Season Ticket holders. And guess what The club sorted it in under 24 hours. STH’s get an option to buy a ticket Mistakes happen and they rectified. As for communication throughout the day - well I’d rather they focused on fixing it than replying to all the happy clappers. I for one say well done to the club for sorting it. UTG Well I did get one, but my two mates who are Season Ticket holders, have been supporting the Rovers for 60+ years (Before they were the Gas!) didn't. I gave their names to Adam Tutton and they got no e-mail. One was working (for free) in a charity shop and didn't get an e-mail and the other also didn't get an e-mail and when I rang and told him to go online at 4:45, he went online but wasn't allowed to access any tickets, they were all gone! There are four other season ticket holders that I know of who went on at around 4:45 to find no tickets left, so your answer is NO, the club have not sorted it. they screwed-up BIG TIME and will not admit it! I got an email from Tom Gorringe shortly after, hoping it was all OK.............................I don't think he liked my reply??? Just to add, this is what it says at the end of that website announcement; "We would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience caused and reassure supporters that we will do all we can to make sure that every season ticket holder that wishes to attend the game is able to". Well, Bristol Rovers, I know of at least 6 that currently can't, so what are you going to do?

Bristol Rovers Football Club is aware of reports from a small number of season ticket holders within the terraced parts of the ground that their ticket reservations were not held for our replay with Norwich for next week.
Club Statement The club has been made aware of a glitch in our third-party ticketing system, which has been investigated, and the affected supporters identified. These fans will be contacted directly, with the opportunity to purchase tickets for the fixture. There will be no further tickets available for general sale purchase at this time.
Season ticket holders in seated areas will still have until 7pm on Wednesday 10th January to purchase their seats for the fixture. Following this deadline, any seats not purchased will be released and made available for purchase with further priority given to those season ticket holders who were unable to purchase last night.
We would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience caused and reassure supporters that we will do all we can to make sure that every season ticket holder that wishes to attend the game is able to.
Thank you for all of your support and we look forward to seeing you all at The Mem next week, for what is a hugely important fixture for the club.
It's not a 'little glitch' judging from the numbers at the ground this morning. There may be hundreds, maybe more affected!

I’m not upset as I’ve got my ticket. Just saying that ST holders should have priority and if it means cancelling tickets, so be it. Yes I bought a ticket last night and i don’t have a season ticket ( this season!). Would happily forego going so a season ticket holder can go and rightfully take their place . The club on the other hand 🙄 As I said in an email to Tom, Pete and Clare. "I've been a fan for 65 years+, and have never missed a home match that I have wanted to go to. If this is the first, it may be my last"...............

Despite being a STH that clearly deserves to be prioritised, the fact you're the first one to say this is ridiculous assuming it's true. Why are the club incapable of getting in front of things like this with their communication. If this is the plan and they know it, it should be published! Gets right on my nerves that club staff have plenty of time to tell individuals what’s going on but not enough time to send a communication to set the record straight and let everyone know, and prevent the bloody communication in the first place. It was only because I asked him outright WTF did it happen, and I know Adam personally, that he told me. Plus, he knows me and knew I wouldn't be leaving without an explanation, or I'd turn green and rip my shirt off!! I did mention that it might be worth putting it on the website, but the shop was so manic, I don't think they were doing anything other than 'fire fighting' at the time.

If it is their plan then it is batshit mental What a huge admin overhead to refund everyone's tickets and then doing a resale, but this time prioritising STHs? Then you would have people turning up with the wrong tickets on the day and either getting in (and breaching capacity) or cause carnage at the turnstiles / ticket office etc... I don't know what the solution is.. because I don't know exactly what the problem behind the scenes is.. but I am not having that the issue is down to touts buying up all those extra tickets Re touts/greedy fans unless I'm missing something I can't see them selling on the tickets that easily, unless they think a ticket for the Norwich game gives them first dibs on a Liverpool ticket? Selling out in a couple of hours last night does seem a bit odd particularly if that included all the terrace s/t tickets, I doubt even the Scunthorpe game sold out that quickly? Hi Topper, I'm not saying that it is touts/greedy fans, but I was told that some were on the 'internet' boasting about how they had 10 tickets for the game and saying that they hadn't seen Rovers for years. I'm not saying they are touts, but buying ten tickets at a time would explain why it was sold out so quickly.

Been to the ground this morning and spoke to Adam Tutton who was helping out in the shop because of the Total Chaos caused by TicketDisaster. It seems that they put Terrace tickets on general sale before reserving the season ticket ones and on general sale you can buy up to 10/12 at a time. Of course, the 'chancers' went on and bought them all up........Hoping to make a profit?? He was taking all terrace season ticket holders names and said that TicketDisaster would be contacting EVERYONE who bought a ticket last night and refunding them. Their tickets would not be valid and everybody would be informed when they went back on sale in the 'correct' sequence! No mention of this on the website yet!! Of course, what happens when all of the people with the previously bought terrace tickets turn up at the same time as the newly purchased ticket, ticketholders......Carnage!!! This is taking incompetence to another level! In fact it makes people who are incompetent look good!

I got home from a meeting at around 10:00 last night with at least 6 other (mainly over-65’s) season ticket holders, most of whom are not as ‘tech savvy’ as me. I emailed Pete/Clare and Tom Gorringe telling them both me and the other guys will be coming to the ground to collect their tickets, today/tomorrow. She replied at 8:00 this morning that Pete will be in touch to sort it out. I hope he will be able to sort them out or I'm sure there be thousands of season ticket holders like us who wil be royally p***Ed off. I'm going at 10:00 unless I get a reply from Pete before that.

Your not the only person saying that on this forum. It appears a good number live very close to the ground and feel exactly like you. Of course will your voice be heard ?. Will they listen to local people in support of this application?. This is why it is critical to have national regional and local accountability and voice. Otherwise groups will move into communities and dictate and dominate the local agenda . Many think the west country is being over - run !. Yeah Bristol only for Bristolians ! Then we can become even more narrow minded and say Horfield only for Horfieldonians ( what is the saying for that ?). Just accept that people can move where they like and can hold what opinions they like . Yatton Gas, I'm not saying that. it's just that the people who have moved in over the past few years tend not to be Bristolians, because of the massively inflated house prices around the Mem and a lot of Bristolians have been 'priced out' of the area. So they don't understand what Rovers mean to Bristol and to 'true supporters' who've been through the mill with the team. From Eastville to Twerton and back to Bristol. Some don't even understand why we would want to go to a 'ropey' old stadium when there's a nice new one at Trashton.

Unfortunately, I live very close to the Mem and am 'lucky' to have two 'Green' councillors. Said Emma Edwards was supposed to be 'helping us local residents' to sort out flooding on Downend Road every time it rains (Blocked Drain), but when nothing was done I sent an e-mail saying that BCC and our councillors were 'useless' and only interested in 'politicking' for personal advancement! All I got back was an e-mail accusing me of 'abusing her'. I sent a reply saying I was just stating the truth, so how could that be abuse? The problem is, that the area round the Mem is now populated by a load of Green NIMBY's, I've been here since it was only the rugby and nowadays most houses around here are sold to non-Bristolians. In fact you struggle to hear a 'Bristolian' accent anywhere in Ashley Down!

Just as a reminder to 'the few' that are going tonight. Muller Road is scheduled to be shut from Ralph Road to Downend Road from 7:00pm to around midnight (It says 6:00am, but it was open after midnight last night!) and is supposed to be for the next 5 nights. Hopefully finished by Saturday??

Well, I'm glad that's over with. I watched the whole game, but lost interest after Evans got sent off. It was obvious if we conceded we could lose by loads. Although I could see why Joey made the tactical decisions at half time, I don't believe they were right and he should have done it later. I believe he took Collins off because we will soon have to get used to 'life without him'. However, I can't fault the application of any of the players he brought on (or any of the players who stayed on), I thought they still fought for the team and their efforts, Belly's keeping, and the Muffs decision to squander every chance offered to them and accept a 2-0 win made it look a respectable score, on paper. It's a shame that Harry has decided he's not wanted here, and I hope that we can hang on to Grant Ward, and maybe Gibson and perhaps even Bogarde on a season long loan, but I think we're going to need another 6-7 new players if not, and have to bear with another slow start to next season. UTG.

What's up with everybody? Nine o'clock and no-one wants to take this on. I'll put the kiss of death on it and suggest we'll get a hard fought draw. We definitely play better against the better teams and Muff are about the best team I've seen this season. 1-1 and Big John to score! UTG!

Gas 7-0 Scunny > Brighton 2-8 Gas Just sayin🤓 I was there! Cloughie looked like he wanted to kill someone from the dugout that day! Wasn't even gracious in defeat! Was also there for Burton in April 2012 (Eliot Richards 3) and Muzzy Carayol gave them the run-a-round, when we thought McGee could be our saviour.....Little did we know!!

My head can't see anything other than a 3-0 drubbing but my heart says we'll get a 1-1 draw! Unfortunately, recently my head has been right all of the time. Even my mate, who's as much of a glutton for punishment as me, is preferring to do DIY rather than come and watch (Not even the draw of Choccy biscuits with his half-time cuppa would attract him!). Foolish I know, but they do sometimes do the unexpected, as they did at Charlton? UTG

This is another one of those that we could lose, like Accrington. However, my heart says a 2-0 win, but the head says it's a 1-1. I'd settle for the second, but the first would make my weekend!!UTG
