So how will this season end, 11 games without a goal or win, can any manager really survive such an awful end to a season? Hopefully not, seems lots of changes will take place over the summer if the hospitality jungle drums last week are true. Left the ground on our 2.5hr journey back to Devon feeling as distant and underwhelmed with the club as I ever have done

I recall that being posted on the fixtures breakfast thread. Not a good look for TG if true. It is true, it was me that asked the question 😂

So ... fixture release breakfast was ok. TG happy with Pompey and Barnsley up first. Two possibly three in by Monday as mentioned above... Was very clear that Club are aiming for a top six finish and will be recruiting players that will have the ability to get us there. WAQ is fully supporting financially. He has seen the quality of what has been signed elsewhere we were not in for any of them. Apologies from me to Eddy Jennings - Even on the morning of his wedding he was trying to tie up a new deal and gave himself the challenge of getting the player over the line on his wedding day. Everything on course for the new stand - We should not believe what we read in the media as all things are progressing well. Everything felt a little rushed today but TG was coolest man in the room - we are in very good hands. Also learnt today from an attendee that our highest paid player as things stand is Big JM - by some distance as well. Made me think even more that AC will need parity or will almost certainly move on as his salary was far lower. Having attended for the first time I was quite surprised no one wanted to ask TG any questions in front of the room apart from myself who asked about the planning portal with BCC. I think the event could have been better with more input from attendees tbh. Hay ho,

Top keeper, imo best we've had since Nigel Martyn. What makes it better is my 7 year old son sponsor's his away shirt and the family business sponsors his home shirt....all the way from Plymouth

Just been to home park ticket office and picked up tickets for the home end for myself and my 3 year old son (he'll do well to last 90 minutes but hay ho). By all accounts even home tickets are nearly sold out and she told me that you cant pay on the turnstyle so any one thinking of going in the home end you best get a move on getting a ticket

Bristol Rovers' hopes of building new stadium at UWE move a step closer By JamesMcNamara | Posted: June 10, 2016 An artist's impression of the proposed UWE Stadium An artist's impression of the proposed UWE Stadium Comments (0) BRISTOL Rovers' long-running hopes of building a stadium on land owned by the University of West England is believed to have finally moved a step closer. Directors Michael Cunnah and Lee Atkins were scheduled to meet with UWE officials on Thursday and an announcement to confirm a favourable agreement has been reached between both parties is imminent. Read more: Taking time to get planning phase right is key in new stadium plan - Wael Al-Qadi Speaking on Thursday evening, Rovers chairman Steve Hamer would only say: "There is an important meeting taking place. "We are optimistic that there will be a favourable outcome. We are hopeful that an announcement will be made on Friday or early next week. "I don't want to pre-empt anything but it is all systems go as we speak." Read more: How much bang do you get for your £40m buck? Speaking earlier this year, Hamer confirmed that Rovers were hoping to break ground in October to begin a project that was estimated to cost £40million when it was first mooted five years ago. The club is hoping the project, which initially proposed the construction of a 21,700-all-seater facility, will be completed within two years. Owner Wael Al-Qadi, speaking in March, confirmed that a "few issues" were still to be resolved between the parties – but with an announcement expected to be made imminently any sticking points appear to have been overcome. Ive seen mentioned on a couple of post that BSS has made comments to a few people recently but nothing as to what he actually said. Can anyone who has spoken to him comment on whether what he said adds weight to proposed take over or otherwise?
