Dont think reading fans will try to get game abandoned as this will do nothing for the mess that Reading FC find theirselves in. if Rovers play the way we think they can, then it will be a good away win. Upwards and onwards we go.

Well wasn't expecting that. Joey Barton has been sacked. Where do we go from here?

All of English football should be mourning this afternoon. Bobby Charlton was English footballs greatest gentleman. Was one of the enland World Cup winning team. Scored lots of fantastic goals. Now gone to join brother Jack. RIP Sir Bobby.

This certainly is a right mess. No wonder people laugh at us. If planning permission hasn’t been heard, then why was the south stand demolished? Did someone think that they could build a new stand without permission? We now have a lower capacity for both home and away fans. Which means less money coming into the club. No wonder the Memorial Stadium ranks as one of the worse stadiums in the UK. It’s a shambles.

does the club still get tickets for the FA cup final? if they do, perhaps the club keeps them for themselves. I remember when supporters club were given a few by the club, but not sure that happens anymore.

So, now that Arron has been voted player of the season for league 1, just how much is he worth, and will the club sell him? Or, do we keep him and sign some better players and have a go at promotion for next season?

This is the last chance saloon for a new Stadium for Rovers. No other football club in the UK have been waiting for a new stadium longer then Bristol Rovers. The ideal was mooted as far back as the late 1970’s when Graham Holmes was chairman. If this doesn’t get off the ground, then we will never ever leave the Memorial Stadium as the amount of land needed for a new stadium with a car park is diminishing. Let’s hope this does happen. If this doesn’t, then I fear for the future of Bristol Rovers Football Club.

I think BRFC are wrong by saying that won’t talk to the BBC. Does the club really understand Linekers last comment in his tweet? To compare our government with Hitlers Germany in the 1930s is wrong and insulting to millions of Jews who lost loved ones in the holocost. Lineker might not agree with government policy, but his last comment was well out of order. So shame on BRFC. Radio 5's sport coverage has been pulled Why? This is getting out of hand.

I would like to see a change away from the quarters for a couple of years. I really like the kit that Brighton and Hove are wearing this season. The quartets are getting a bit bland as you can’t do much with them, and changes over the years have been hit or miss. So let’s try something new. Please tell me you're only on about the away shirt? No, I’m on about the home shirt.

If this new stand manages to get built, then I suggest the club demolish the main stand {centenary stand) andbiuld a new structure that goes the entire length of the terracing. There is plenty of space to do this and could up the capacity to 15 - 16,000

Well at least this will be our last visit to this dump for a while. FGR are a team out of their depth and a stadium that not really acquitted to L1 football. Glad to see the back of them.

How many tellys are there in the club house? What if people in exec boxes decide to stay on? Best to abandon this idea and let everyone watch in the warm. Sat night could go down to even -6 degrees…too could to be outside after 7am.

I think most who stay on to watch the England game will stay inside the clubhouse as it’s going to be below zero degrees. That’s why after game I’m going home and watching in the warm.

Have read almost all comments made about the capacity reduction. It is now obvious that the present Mem situation is not fit for purpose. I can see only 2 options whereby we have the capacity of a ground to help the club progress. Option 1 is that more effort needs to be done to identify a location within the Bristol area to build a brand new stadium fit for the future. Option 2 is to completely rebuild the Mem. I would start by building a proper stand at the south end of the ground. Maybe in similar size like that at Southend utd. Next demolish the main east stand. This was never built properly by Bristol Rugby Club. The new stand will be build the entire length of the pitch. Then if possible, demolish the club house (thatchers bar) and build a seated stand above the terraceing. With the right developers in place, this can be done. As with the west stand, the club will need to see if planning restrictions still apply. When the west stand was built, it was restricted by having to be the exact size of the old wooden structure it replaced, due to the houses behind that stand. We are running out of options with every day that passes. And with the Mem in its present state with a capacity of less 10,000, how can we progress to the championship?
