Todays match only emphasised the need for a striker who plays on the last man and plays in the 18yard box.
Collins is way off the pace at the moment and think Sinclair is better coming off the bench rather than starting.
On the positive jack hunt looks like he will be a real attacking asset, he was getting into positions in field 1st half which was leaving space for Thomas.
One thing that really annoys me is our set pieces, all this flaffing about playing it short. The amount of times the ball doesn’t ever get into the box is criminal.
Anyhow hopefully things come together over the next few weeks.

I think we’re in our own little division of maybe 10 teams fighting to stay in the league and that’s 2 points from a possible 9 at home against 3 of those teams in with us, going to be a long season I think.
We really are in need of an experienced centre half to organise , not another young player from a championship team, although to be fair Bobby Thomas didn’t look to bad today.
Luca Hoole’s passing is Atrocious and kilgour’s isn’t much better.
Marquis to me is a waste of space, never wins a challenge or holds and doesn’t really look like creating or scoring.
On a plus I thought Collins was on there ball a lot more and looked dangerous in the centre and on a normal day would of probably had a couple of goals.
Anyway fingers crossed for 20th position this season.

Shocking performance tonight, just haven’t got started. The passing has been awful. I haven’t seen marquis win a challenge in the last match and a half!!! Hopefully joey will give them a rocket.

Geoff Bradford has ro be the best overall. Never saw him in League though so I'll go for Harold or even Stuart Taylor for their sheer length of service. But as Marshfield said, Smash and Grab for excitement and that season in 73/74 when they created a legend that will never die. UTG! Wally did the same trick over and over again for 3seasons yet nobody could stop him, he really was a class act even in his late thirties........Wally, wally Walters , wally, wally Walters.

Easily Stéphane Léoni, my favourite ever French player. It's a shame he never got off the bench in the Euro 2000 final.

For some reason people seem to think we have pulled off some sort of coup, I'm A little disappointed to be honest, 2 youth players with no league experience who's parent club will most likely still be paying there wages and another loan who has played 20 games in league 2.... Hardly pushing the boat out is it . I for one am hoping that weal is going to turn out to be the messiah we all hoped he was.

I think mildi could have done better with the 2nd goal, watching it again I don't think he moves his feet enough to adjust. The third I think was hit to close for him to get down. I think milldenhall is a solid keeper at best but not sure if he is capable anymore of winning is matches on his own. I think the goalkeeper situation will tell us a lot about clubs ambitions this year, keep milldenhall and it's mid table at best. Push the boat and invest in a new decent keeper and we will see how serious they are.

Think we only need an experienced ball winning central midfielder with the legs to get about, maybe another back up centre half and a quick centre forward if Taylor stays or goes.
What would everybody realistically be happy with this term? A season of conciliation

Does anyone think DC may regret saying that if we got promoted that all the squad would be offered new contracts because in my opinion there are a few now contracted that won't be up to league one standard. It's a funny situation as that reason could of had a lot to do with us gaining promotion but means we're now with inadequate players contracted. Puddy Mansell Lawrence Gosling Ollie clarke How do we know if they're inadequate if they haven't played at that level yet...? I swear half our fans go 'oh that was nice that a group of players got promoted twice in two years. Should we build on that group? Nah let's dismantle it!' You can build on the squad by keeping the better players and then upgrading some, there is no place for sentiment if we are to continue being successful.
