Yep, was there. Happy days. Does anyone remember when we played City at Twerton, and the ball was floated to Alan Walsh. Some Gashead blew a whistle and Walshy caught the ball. Free kick to Rovers, as ref didn't blow the whistle. Think it was an evening game.

I spotted a couple of West Mercia Coppers hanging around the Blackthorn End after a match with Shrews about 3 years ago. I asked if they were looking for Weetabix, but they just got the hump. I was at that game FA Cup 87 if I recall, we'd beaten Myrthyr 6-0 in the previous round. I think David Moyes was playing for Shrews. West Mercia flapped like budgies because they were expecting about 500 Gasheads, when I recall between 2,500 to 3,000 turned up. I've never forgiven them for the way they Policed that day. They were a rabble, and contributed nothing towards the F.A.Cup tradition. Just truncheons and dogs V Weetabix. Sharp weetabix mind.

Hi mate,
Just a suggestion but check to see if your train stops at Bristol Parkway. 9 minutes journey time to Parkway from Temple Meads. Parkway is slightly closer to the Mem than Temple Meads. May give you a bit extra flex.

I listened to BBC radio Lincolnshire , and their local pundit, disagreed with everything Appleton said. He praised Rovers, and how difficult they were to break down, said it was a definite penalty, and said Hanlon was the best forward they had faced this season by some margin. In short Bristol Rovers deserved to win.

There is a Green Hill far away ... etc.... For he's a jolly good fellow..
The famous Bristol Rovers went to Rome to see the Pope .....
We used to be quite religious, at one point.
We need the BRFC Chaplain to start up a choir practice on Holloway Hill to get everyone going prior to each game..
Benn Gunstones 'Tote End Boys' needs to be belt out from the Blackthorn/North/Thatchers End one day. I bet that would raise the hairs on the back of his neck.
