Just goes to show really that we need to see the full plans before we really know how much ambition it shows

This is all assuming it’s safe standing with renovations rather than leaving two whole stands as they are with normal standing.
Because if that’s the case then that’s basically a tin structure over the top of the North Stand bar and probably low quality extensions to the East Stand.
I’m a fan of the south stand and I think the Mem can be redeveloped well with an East Stand extension but to me his words suggest that it’s basically the same with the east stand and north stand. Which doesn’t put to bed endless complaints about the stadium and desire for renovated stands or a new stadium.

Sounds like they won’t be touching the terracing that remains which frankly makes the project sound underwhelming and as if it will be done on the cheap

Did Taylor and the coaching staff do the lap of the pitch?? Think they decided against it given most people had gone home so just stood around on the pitch. Pretty sure Taylor, McAllister and Carlisle did the lap of honour. They were stood back a bit but if I was in their position I would be too to let the players take the applause

It’s like watching an ex girlfriend going out with a better looking bloke with a bigger cock than you! But yes, get over him FFS! They don’t really have a bigger cock. We’ll have a new girlfriend soon and our ex girlfriend will be looking back wishing they were back where their bread was buttered. Just like with the cock in a cup snake man and JCH who looked to me as if he’d rather be here today!

Glad I’ve seen the back of the mem for a while , water poor season. Won’t be keeping an eye on the Wigan game so have a good summer all !! I’ll be glad of a break but this season hasn’t been as bad as some will make out. We’ve stayed in the league and had some good results along the way. Our problem has been we can’t score goals and have generally had quite an inexperienced defence. People forget seasons like those we’ve been relegated out of league one or worse league two, or seasons like when Garner threw away a 3rd place position and was only stopped from further capitulation by Covid bringing play to an end. Compared to those this season has not been bad at all. Sign an experienced striker (who could possibly fill this role?), one or two up and coming hopefulls and extend Martin and some experienced heads alongside players like Taylor and Connolly and we’ll come back in August excited for the season ahead.

Some harsh comments. Thought we deserved a point tbh. Considering we were playing without a striker against a team who was chasing automatic promotion on the penultimate day, I thought we did ok - especially second half. What were people expecting Agree don’t think it was too bad today. We kept JCH quiet. Don’t think there was that much in it.

Thought we played pretty well 1st half and really should have been in front, we seemed to lose our way for moat of the 2nd half & Cambridge were quite happy to defend deep and grind out a 0-0. Fantastic team goal to win the game, agree with MTs post match keeping that clean sheet means even against a side intent on defending deep you only need one quality moment. Rossiter again showed just how important he is, imo he's the one player I'd be more than happy we take a gamble on. Hope Rossiter coming off was precautionary. He went into a strong challenge a minute or two earlier and looked a little bit uncomfortable afterwards. He looked class whilst he was on the pitch, as he did on Saturday. I think we’re just managing his time to 50 mins right now. Was very similar to Saturday

It’s the keeper changes I don’t get. Why drop Jed, then say you’re picking your strongest team, then bring him back in?

Should give them permission if they don’t already have it as the guy is sadly a liability. Red card and/or goal conceding error waiting to happen

No wonder they’re watered off but MT has done the right thing and they shouldn’t have committed to a southern team if they can’t hack the travel.

It's pretty hard for him to win here really. He takes the time to engage with the fanbase and answer fan queries at all hours and gets criticised for not delegating. If it were the other way round he'd be smashed for being inaccessible and hiding away from the blowtorch of fan engagement. This has to be one of the oddest criticisms I've ever heard to be honest. Exactly Just think, one person on here thinks he is at fault for not delegating email queries to the catering people...what world do these people live in? If it relates to catering why ever not? If it relates to ticket mess ups, why not get Pete to deal with it? If there’s a mess up involving ticketing affecting hundreds or thousands of supporters why not send out a communication about what’s going to be done about it instead of replying individually to those who ask and letting everyone else guess as to what’s happening? That’s how healthy normal organisations operate.

It has marketing managers, media managers, heads of HR, retail managers? They do? All stated in plural, do you know who these people are, their names perhaps? A lot of this is well documented. Retail manager is Pete Weymouth, also extending to ticketing. The head of HR who knows but the role exists - it’s infamous in relation to the JCH saga. Media manager of head of was posted on here when the role was filled. Go on LinkedIn and search for the club and you’ll find the names of individuals filling these or similarly named roles - dont think it’s necessary to actually name them here. Hardly ITK information that I’m making up. He’s not running the show on his own.
