Well, that was a poor performance. We're definitely sleep walking now to relegation. I feared for the worst after seeing the lineup. No point in playing a back five against a team that struggles to defend. The fact we could only score one goal proved that. Two soft goals conceded but we should have been capable of scoring three! Hopefully Daly can return as I'm sorry to say (and I hope he has a career in league football) but Ayunga is an embarrassment at this level. That last chance for Ayunga was truly shocking. A great cross just about on the goal line for him to slide in and he just didn't move. Where was the hunger and desperation to get that ball across the line no matter what? Good strikers love scoring goals and will do anything to get the ball in the net. Ayunga looked like he didn't want to get dirty, he's no striker.

The club charges 20 quid for all lightweight packages sent to overseas destinations, even Europe where the postage is usually about 3 quid! It really puts me off buying anything from the club shop. I wrote to Tom Gorringe about it and received a very prompt reply saying that it's something that they are going to look into soon. UTG

Sunderland have strong links with Feyenoord. But you never know they might want to start from scratch. 😀 UTG

"Dirk Kuyt and Rob Jansen want to buy football club in England" Rob Jansen is about to buy a football club from England. He's doing this together with a few former football players, who put money into the football broker's project. Among them is former international Dirk Kuyt. Jansen says that Friday evening in the television program Jaïr in goed Gezelschap on NPO1. Jansen cannot yet say what club it is. The negotiations are at an advanced stage. It is a long-held wish to buy a club together with the number of players and former players for whom I am doing business. The players and I have a utopian image of how that club should be led and what it takes to achieve the highest. I am really looking forward to this adventure. I think there is a good chance that it will succeed says Jansen.
This is a club from the League One, the third professional level in England. It is possible that this concerns Bolton Wanderers, which has been waiting for a takeover since this month.

The news is not good. I understand he keeps breaking down at training and is as far from being match fit as when we signed him.

Wael stopped his work for the Jordanian FA to have more time for the Gas. Has he actually been spotted at the club recently or at recent matches?

Any good pubs near the ground tomorrow? It seems like most Gasheads are heading for the Bricklayers Arms near the station.

I went to Hambrook golf driving range today and stopped on the way out to take a look at the UWE training site. There are artists impressions on the site hoardings which I am sure you could look at online. This is quite a tidy set up and I have to wonder if the Colony has stagnated because we will end up using this facility. Maybe this isn’t being announced as people will obviously get hysteria about another link with UWE. Maybe the UWE is back on, Severncider has always been 99.9% confident it will be built (although he never mentions Rovers connections) and I have no real reason to disbelieve him. Couple this with Wael not ruling out UWE in an interview despite previously labelling it “dead” and it makes the whole situation very interesting. Wael also said very clearly that the Colony will happen.

Flying to Schiphol and getting the train from there to Eindhoven is a good option. An hour and a half in the train costing about 20 Euro's. The game will probably be played at an amateur club near Eindhoven. A good chance for Gasheads to see that there is so much more to Holland than Amsterdam. 🇳🇱

Wael mentioned the stadium architects he was talking to had not built 1,2,3,4 but 12 stadiums. Any idea who they are ? HOK was involved with Wembley and MK Dons both had connections with the previous uwe project. they also were involved with the Olympic stadium, millenium stadium ,Silverstone ,ascot ,Lyon to name a few. any ideas The Buckingham Group.

Earls court for me. I understand the pubs close to the ground can be a bit dodgy.
