You’re just gonna single out the one player!?! Not at all - usually though he is a rock at the back but last few games looks nervous and just not the player he was. It’s probably because of the awful performances around him… wouldn’t you look nervous they way we’ve defended lately?

Absolute rubbish… Taylor should resign, not a sign of any idea on how to play the game or motivate the players

How is it, we go so long into a game against a team in the bottom four, without getting a shot away!?! Lack lustre, not a single player is worthy of a contract next season. I feel sorry for the fans that wasted their hard earned money going to support them… those players don’t deserve supports like that… especially considering their last showing!!! Imagine if we didn't sign Chris Martin pushing 36 this year and one of the few players you could thank this season for effort!. I shudder at the thought of the position we’d be in if we hadn’t signed him…

I believe the number 19 will get you from Kingswood to the Mall Not any more, the 19 only goes to Parkway. Then goes to Cribbs bus station, does it go there empty? (Serious question)

Might be a crazy idea and I'm aware this is me now getting ahead of myself! But, there will likely be a consultation during any potential build where supporters can raise issues such as transport etc. There weren't buses to the Mall before it was built.. Try getting a bus from Kingswood to the Mall. I believe the number 19 will get you from Kingswood to the Mall

Not sure H&S would sign off on the use of half a stand. Liverpool are doing it with their stand redevelopment Wow, I didn’t know that. Then I guess anything is technically possible.

If a stand was largely pre fabricated, and the installation started as the season finished (as they do with the pitch), surely they could get it in place in the off season. The fitting out of facilities beneath the structure can be completed as the season rolls on. If they were to incorporate the corners at the same time, we’d probably (almost certainly) increase capacity reducing impact of future development. Isn’t that what the other mob did over the river! Or alternatively you could build half of the stand at a time. Not sure H&S would sign off on the use of half a stand.

Perhaps. I guess things and opinions can always change but until they do…it’s no new development at the Mem whatever I may wish. UTG! Reality is...what part of the ground can you close for a year whilst a replacement stand is built. That still allows safe access to all parts of the ground and have space for any "removed" facilities . (Shop, bar, restaurant etc). North terrace ? Means capacity is dropped by 3000 for a year and bars are lost. South stand ? All away fans are on the terrace. Ground wont have required seating numbers unless a terrace area is temp converted. Lose 1-2000 off capacity. West side ? Lose all boxes and premium seats and changing rooms. Lose 2000+ off capacity. East side ? Unless temp seating put elsewhere wont have required seating levels. All away fans in south stand so virtually no home seating. Loss of shop ,hospitality etc. Capacity reduced by upto 4000. So the least it might be is a year with a 7000 capacity. The worst a 5000 capacity. Which essentially means its not possible.

I never said the league was upside down, I just implied Ellis is ever so slightly overrated by elements of the fan base… in my opinion. I'd say the opposite. Ellis was underrated by elements of the fan base. For some reason, quite a few never warmed to him. On the other hand, DC (after his 50-odd goals in his last 4 seasons), Ipswich and Portsmouth did. Maybe it hasn't been perfect for him since he left us, but he would be a quality player at L2 level. Not that I expect him to join us. Yeah… he averaged 10-12 a season, just the prolific kind of striker we need. And you say he was rated by other managers/clubs, but how many games has he played and how many goals has he scored since leaving us?

Well the chairmen at Ipswich and Portsmouth aren't Rovers fans presumably? Presumably they would require some impartial assessment of his footballing ability before agreeing to sign him? For their bench no doubt… since leaving, how many games has he played?

You say level he’s played at like he plays week in week out… bench warming squad man, he was ok in the conference… we are above his level The football league is upside-down! Deluded. He was never and never will be too good for this club…. Hmm ... theres is just the small matter of the level he's played at since he left vs Rovers relative level. You say level he’s played at like he plays week in week out… bench warming squad man, he was ok in the conference… we are above his level

He was never and never will be too good for this club…. But don't forget those important goals you can count on one hand and how much he chased everything down, the keepers, the defence, if you're really careful you could almost remember him breaking into a slight trot. Exactly… if he had never played for this club, and was now tipped to join us as our “hot” striker… what would be your thoughts on his stats?

Ooooh… FFS Ellis, yep remember him… he’s the one everyone agreed, season on season, that he “needed to step up this season”, or it was “a big season for…” and yet he never did. But certain sections of the fan base believed he should be given more time as he was “one of our own…” and he “tried hard”… thanks, but no thanks Ellis And yet he is now too good for this club. He was never and never will be too good for this club….
