Great advert, but that little girl wouldn’t have to use those programmes if we had a suitable stadium ;-)

announce development squad scrapped next Quite the reverse I think, shows a determination to get in the best coaches they can rather than just making do with those they have. That said it's quite a harshly worded statement and does not read like a good reference for the guy. It doesn’t read like a good reference. And agreed the club want the best coaches. Knowing your subject is one thing, but you also need to be a professional in the workplace. Probation over and released for good reason. Bring on the the next appointment. Good move by the club.

Good that Wael recognises that as fans, we’d like more communication. I genuinely think he wants what is best for this club but doesn’t have his family support.
However all I took from that interview is.... talks are ongoing (as always), there’s no firm dates or plans and that comment at the end that ‘he’ would be around for the long run... does that indicate that others (the family) aren’t planning to be?!!!

Respect to DC for his honesty and also the way in which he outs our owners for having no ambition and basically confirming what I and others have been saying on here for weeks and weeks regarding our owners and lack of spending their own money and paying bills etc. F@ck knows what they were really expecting when they bought this club but we as fans have well and truly had our pants pulled down , we massively over achieved last season and now this season it seems that our lack of decent signings obviously down to not wanting to part with decent cash is now having an effect on us , I suspect that we will possibly escape relegation this season but we will almost certainly be relegated next season at no fault to DC whatsoever and this will be down to the dry bread fraudsters we have at the helm . Bollicks to the AlQs. Totally correct. Apart from Wael (who seems to have no authority) the owners have no ambition. They won’t put their hands in their pocket and money is definitely not being spent. It’s gonna take something very special for them to change their mind. And to not pay bills is just disgusting. DC has obviously had enough and that interview tells all. DC needs to be backed 100% by the fans. Fans, players and staff against the owners it seems now. Any frustration needs to be taken out on our owners. Unless they come out with a positive statement very soon, I’m sure there will be protests shortly. UWE was our spring board to the next chapter. But that needed money that our owners weren’t going to commit to spending. I’m a very optimistic person but this situation is an absolute shambles.

Not all kits are as easy to see as other kits: We scored 2 goals away to Portsmouth in that photo so the strikers were found alright that game. Anyway, let's see how the season goes. UTG.

Loving both the kits. Sponsors could maybe do with some tweaking. But overall thumbs up. The home kit I s simple and traditional. The away kit is stylish and potentially our best to date IMO. Anyone with worries about visibility on a dark and rainy Tuesday night can take confidence from 2 things: - Stadiums have floodlights which allow players to be seen. - Chelsea won the league in this colour combo, so no problems with viability there. Not sure you can really compare playing at Bury & Rochdale to Chelsea playing at Premiership grounds! In my view the adverts are oversized, unless there's some EFL set standard size then why couldn't they be two thirds of the size, if they were both shirts would look decent. Whether it be at Man U or Rochdale, there are still floodlights at these grounds. Rochdale and Bury don't play in the dark do they. I stand by to be corrected and I'll make sure I bring my torch and night vision goggles to those matches.

I don't want to ruin the big reveal, but I like the sound of the away kit.

which made me think the Aussie lad may be signing too? I thought that too, when they were included in the Portugal trip. I cannot see DC taking them as a thank you and giving them a holiday for their efforts Broadbent had his photo taken the same time as Bola. Maybe the Hull game was his final chance to perform; and if he did, he got the contract.

I'm getting confused, is there another signing within the hour or is it Marc Bola the one? I had the thumbs up on Marc signing... the second signing is just a rumour at the moment.

Rumours of 2 signings today though :-) Ooh how exciting, I don't know if I can contain myself! I might have to quickly bash one off! Please let it be a striker? Not sure what position. But another signing justifies bashing one out haha.

Is anybody else unhappy with 5,000 season tickets sold? I am,would have thought more like 7k? Am i being unrealistic to be underwhelmed? Talking typical nonsense, let's be honest the Mem is a sh1t hole for families etc with virtually all the decent seats sold out, so to get anywhere near 6K is an incredible achievement, when only a couple of years ago that was more than some of home attendances in the Conference. Agreed, the Mem is a sh!t hole and not the best place to bring the family for a day out. I'll be investing a lot more of my families time at UWE WHEN it happens and I'm sure a lot of other families will be also.

Definitely a 10 for the Rovers fans last night. Good numbers and good noise.
I was working up north so went in the Sheffield United KOP with my blades colleagues.
When Rovers sang, it sounded great. Nice to hear it from the other fans perspective for a change.

Just come through uwe into HP. There are now some big earth mover type vehicles on the proposed stadium site. I also spotted this as I drove through earlier. Assumed they were clearing up the mess left by the travellers in order to start making the progress we all wish for. Optimism at its finest after the Wael Q&A last night :-)
