self defence fair enough, but throwing punches uncontrollably is a bit too far... It appeared to be awful stewarding from the video and not something you should ever see. It was mate, just an absolute shambles. I kept asking the stewards and the police to move the net and all of this would be calm, but there response was "we're under instructions from the club not to move the net". Utter nonsense

The law as I understand it allows a officer (or anyone else) to act in self defence if they feel they are in danger. That response must be necessary and proportionate to the danger faced and must cease as soon as the danger has passed. If the threat level decreases, so must the level of the response. self defence fair enough, but throwing punches uncontrollably is a bit too far...

When the fans were trying to get out at the end there were KIDS getting pushed back in and a 60 year old man pushed over and cracked his head open, mental absolute joke, stewards need to have a look at themselves, especially that ginger ogre so ran down, threw 5 punches and jumped over the net and out the exit, shocking behaviour.

Commentators saying fighting between Stewards and Rovers fans ,calmed down now. all to do with them not moving a net. There's too many people and they're kicking off the fact we're stood in the steps area. They've moved it now but stewards actions are a disgrace. No fault of rovers.

No idea who the lads are that have just been thrown out for doing nothing wrong what so ever at Port Vale, but if by the off chance you're on here and need a couple of witnesses come my way. Absolute disgrace

James Clarke coming in at right back is no bad thing for us, but it puts a lot of pressure on McChrystal if no-one comes in tomorrow and we are arguably 2 centre backs and a full back short, now. sounds like the perfect time to give Tom Locks a rest now too! Only have 3 fit CB's, 2 haven't played regularly for a while now. Cant see Locks being rested anytime soon.

Can't see any info on the website. Anyone know what the situation is regarding how many tickets we've been given? And how many we've sold? Should hopefully take a few. UTG! not sure how many we received, but we've sold 1,000 so far! With it being pay on the day also you'd think in excess of 1500.

Roos - 5: Made one good save in the first half, apart from that all he had to do was pick the ball out of the net twice. MOTM award has to be some sort of wind up surely?
Brown - 4: always backwards or sideways, not direct enough to play as a wingback.
J. Clarke - 4: Evident it was his first game back, seemed to struggle.
Lockyer - 5: struggling for form as of late.
Hartley - 4: Ball watching.
Leadbitter - 5: Possibly the most frustrating player. Gets himself up the pitch and stops, when the ball comes to him its backwards on sideways. hes got the pace and the beating of full backs, make the run behind the full back and get the ball played through the channel!!!
Lines - 5: So out of form recently.
Sinclair - 6: Busy as usual but no real spark.
O. Clarke - 5: In and out of the game.
James - 4: Offered nothing again, poor signing imo.
Gaffney - 7 (MOTM): worked his socks off as per usual, got his goal and could of had more.
Harrison - 4: Offered nothing as usual.
Montano - 4: Poor in final third.
Bodin - 5.5: looked good in patches, not decisive enough in final third.
Crowd - 6
Ref - 6
Barrow - 6.5: Set up well but nothing special.

I think this is where our problems are coming from. A few players know that they are on their way out. Thanks for digging us out of non-league football but we have to move on. Lee Brown, Danny Leadbitter, James Clarke, Ollie Clarke, Stuart Sinclair, Rory Gaffney, Ellis Harrison, Lee Mansell, Liam Lawrence - thank you for the memories. Disagree with Ollie Clarke, Sincs, Gaffney and Manse. Think Leadbitter and Brown just need to be more direct... Constantly get the ball and it goes backwards. The ones to be offloaded have to be Gosling, McChrystal, Puddy, Ellis and Lawrence. All really offer nothing.
Also concerning the fact we have 5 forwards at the club and only one can score consistently. Need to prepare for the worst with Matty and invest wisely come Jan.
