Ok I will get the Pompey chimes going Total happy crowd watching a thriller (3-3) 8,777 Pompey to bring their usual top support of 1,199 UTG 1199, is that allowing for the transgender bell ringer left in the toilets in the Welly? 😁

That’s not the point I’m making Topper, the point is he’s not our regular captain so someone else taking over is not a great surprise really is it? Plus the fact that he’s not played great since he’s been captain makes perfect sense for him to step down. Then why not just do it in private instead of the nonsense about ducking out of an header? The reason we lost on Tuesday was down to Coburn missing reasonably easy chances not Collins nor the pitch Do you really think the public shaming of Belshaw and Collins is benefiting Rovers? No of course not, but it makes it a lot more interesting on here 😂

A guy who was given the captaincy on a temporary basis because a couple of others in front of him were out injured, now has the captaincy taken off him? Wow major non- news, nothing to see here move along please. Aaron back to his best now on Saturday and rip Pompey a new one! UTG! JB made it news? Plus the injured players apparently won't be back tomorrow, so another player will have to be made captain. Apart from JB who actually thinks a captain is significant in the modern game anyway. I absolutely hate these idiots. So does Elliot Richards! Comeon has let’s do it for Richards! I still wonder what would have happened to his career if those goals had counted! Yes cheating bastards! They cost me Just over £400 that day, very peed off as I also had 3 - 2, 4 - 1 & 4 - 2. Called off after 70 odd minutes wasn’t it? I just ended up with my £40 stake money back. Robbed by William Hill & more importantly robbed by Wyscum! Let’s do em tonight another 3 - 1 just like buses! Come on the Dude & come on you blue boys. UTG!

Super John marquis was absolutely fantastic today. What an awful away day that is though. Soaked. But worth it just to sing going down to the fgr idiots that sang about us doing nothing when they invaded our pitch for promotion. Enjoy league 2 vegans Yes, and then enjoy the national league, back where you belong. Stale Mince can shove his rissoles up his Arsenal! Horrible little club 🛎ends.

Deary me people talk about how bad the facilities are at the Mem and how bad the catering is (and I'm possibly one on the latter) but the whole match day experience was shocking from FGR's perspective today. They have stickers about winning an EFL award for matchday experience in the food hut window and if that's true then those awards don't stand for sh**. Got to Nailsworth and tried finding a parking space before it became clear I needed to find the park and ride. Drove past it but there were no signs for it. That would have been nice. Get on the bus and make it to the ground and pop through the turnstiles. Pop to the toilets and try to find the queue for food and it is not obvious if the queue for food is actually people watching what's going on the pitch. The time is about 2.10pm and having a ticket for the covered standing and having not been to a league fixture there I think about popping down the other end to see if there's facilities there. Get in and past the security area for that bit and it's clear the covered standing actually provides zero cover, and there's only about 3 rows of terracing already maxed out just gone 2.10pm. Pop back to queue for food, must have been queueing from 2.15pm to 3pm on the dot, as I got to the hut just as kick off hit and I was able to get the last burger. Three lads faffed around trying to prepare it and the main "chef" warned me it was a bit burned. Wish I'd heeded his warning! They give me the burger on a plastic tray (can't believe they get away with this) and my burger meal comes with fries and a drink, which the latter was a surprise. Select a can of the black coke or whatever it is and they give it to me in can format. Which I'm even more surprised about as that isn't allowed in many football grounds as its considered a safety risk (as I may be a complete animal and chuck it at a player, official, rival supporter or perhaps I'm even such an animal I'd chuck it at a fellow supporter) Go to put some salt an vinegar on my chips and the shaker doesn't come out. Except then it does, all over my chips. If you witnessed it, you know now who I am 😆. By this point the terraces are rammed and there's supporters arguing to get through into the covered seating areas as loads of people can't see as there's far too many on the terraces. Then I come steaming through with my ticket and awkwardly manage to get past to take an end spot in the cordoned off area for those with covered seating tickets. It was however impossible to concentrate on the match as supporters were trying to climb up anything with height on it to see the match and arguing with the police and stewards to be able to come in the restricted area. Which eventually after the FGR goal goes in the stewards and police help arrange. A tip for anyone going next time - get one of these tickets as it's a bit more spacious (but still not much better!) Also, a shout out for the police who I thought dealt with these disappointed and frustrated customers (rightfully so) really well. The match ends and then there is zero signage for how to get the bus back to the park and ride so I just wing it and walk back to the car through the side streets which wasn't actually that bad and managed to evade the queues. At this point I would say it is nice to end a match and there's zero sense of aggro with other supporters and people can simply mingle amongst each other without any unpleasantness - which is unusual for away fixtures (or at least the more local ones I often go to) and one of the more pleasant aspects of today. Those who call the mem second rate and say how poorly the match day experience is run should go to one of these games. An absolute shocker from the FGR perspective and their ground and management demonstrate they're not fit for their place in the EFL let alone L1 level. It also illustrates why we've chosen to reduce capacity which is 100% a good call by the club even if it reduces take on the gates and leaves some disappointment. It avoids aggravation from overcrowding on the terraces. In terms of the game I thought we played excellently but the opposition was poor and we were capable of scoring more. Johnny Marquis had an excellent game, as did the two Lewis', and Scotty. Aaron seems to be struggling right now but he'll be right back on it in no time. He always seems to try too hard against FGR and think his underwhelming performance today was particularly driven by this. Must say I was calling for McCormick to be given a second chance in this game as it was a perfect opportunity for him to build his confidence up. Was devastated for the lad that he was pulled off after only being on the pitch for less than 10 minutes. You could see whatever confidence he had left being drained out of him when it became clear it wasn't an error by the fourth official but the actual substitution being made by his manager. I'm disappointed in JB and think this is not the way to manage him but will only knock his confidence further. We got away with the penalty and yellow cards and were still very much comfortable, and IMO hauling him off was unnecessary. Final shout out of the day must go to the referee and to the linesman on the southwestern side. Thought the Lino had a really good second half - nice to be cheering on the officials instead of berating them for making poor decisions. Whilst the ref made one or two decisions to grumble against he got the vast majority right and didn't get swayed by play acting from FGR. Feck me! Thanks for the novel Victor. I’ll read it tomorrow when I’ve got a spare hour 😁UTG!

Forgive me if already mentioned, but their 25 stalked straight off at the final whistle, shaking no hands at all. Sounds like GGMI after the Dudes run. 🥱
