Sorry but why would they want him? If we were in the top 6 pushing for promotion then I would worry but not now His team, his signings, reality is kicking in now without money to improve Have forest got money to spend and would their fans put up with, honest bunch and dust ourselves down if they were in bottom 3 Dc not ready for championship he was right to turn down Leeds cause he needs the experience with us,5 years time maybe Agreed, DC's stock has fallen over last few months. Can't see Championship clubs wanting to take a manager from our league position in the league below.

I think the owners have missed a trick. The potential to turn the club into a championship team getting 12-16k attendances in a brand new ground would have made sense of their investment with the value of the club skyrocketing. Now were told to wait for some obscure future ground development and a made up date about the colony while we lose lots of money every year! It just dosnt add up does it? they are full of sh** and conned dc,players and fans This is unfortunately the truth.

The tide is turning in our city, you only have to look at similar cities where the tide has turned or is turning. Take Manchester how long where Man city the poor relation to United, then look to London, Tottenham are now out shining Arsenal then move to the Midlands with West Brom and the one thing that links all these clubs is they all play in BLUE AND WHITE (ok spurs technically white and blue) Next season if the s**t are in our division the run out music for that game should be Blue is the colour. Its exciting times for the gas and a new era UTG yeah only 55 years since spurs won the league, everyone in n5 is terrified, they always mess up at spurs. Spurs have finished behind Arsenal for the last 21 years and they will be level on points in the league if Arsenal win their game in hand....

DC's been a bit lucky 8 Conference players have been able to step up their game to Div 1 level as I doubt that happens often... Yeah, lucky that when everyone was saying Matty flattered to deceive and would never be a goal scorer he stood by him and it was pure luck he turned into a twenty goal a season striker. Lucky that when everyone was saying we should get rid of Ellis asap even if it meant paying up his contract DC persevered with him and he's coming good. Lucky that when everyone was saying that DC had bought the wrong Sinclair brother and he only bought him coz he was at Salisbury, that he luckily can hold his own in League 1. Lucky that he stuck by Ollie Clarke when it looked like the bloke couldn't even have a decent game for a failing League 2 side that by pure luck he's now dominating games in League 1. Lucky that he managed to convince Browner to stay in the Conference even though he could have walked into any team in League 2. Lucky that he managed to sign an old, has-been, past-it, Mansell who was in the only team worse than us in 2014, and by pure luck he managed to become the midfield keystone in two consecutive promotions. etc... Blimey, DC should do the lottery with luck like that. "The more I practice the luckier I get" Gary Player.

My apologies if this has been raised before. As a newbie to the forum, I am acutely aware that posting a comment that is critical of established members will be seen by some as pretentious or downright rude. It is not my intention to upset anyone, but sometimes a new viewpoint can prove useful. My comment concerns the overuse and frankly ridiculous use of the quote facility. I've been trying to read historical threads to get a feel for the forum and to avoid asking unnecessary questions. However, the overuse of quotes has been driving me nuts, and makes reading some threads a laborious trial. There are many 10 page threads that could be 2 pages without all the quotes. Some selective quotes are necessary and help with the flow and clarity of a thread but the overall majority are superfluous. A prime example is the excellent assessment of the Crawley game by syevek192 'At least we get another chance but should have won'. His long post is interesting and informative, but did the first two responders really need to quote his entire post simply to make a one line comment? Unnecessary quotes should be removed by mods/admin. I am a member of another, non-football related forum which suffered from the same problem. Following action by mods, members soon got the hang of it and the forum improved 100%. Hopefully, this post will be accepted in the spirit that is intended and not seen as a newbie whinge. You can quote me on that. Best wishes, Terry My apologies if this has been raised before. Can I be a killjoy? I bet the atmosphere suffers. All the extra fans will be glory hunters who'll start moaning if we're not 3 up inside 20 minutes. As someone who lives a long way away, this attitude really hacks me off! Maybe, just maybe, there's people who can't go every week but have decided to make the extra effort to be there to support the team based on recent success. And breathe...

Having grow up in Bath in the 80's/90's, supporting Bath and Rovers was the only way. Never really cared about Bristol, but their #makingbristolproud nonsense, and the association with the dark side has made me dislike them.

It would be nice to have a big signing of two, someone to really get the excitement levels up amongst the fans. At this point it's hard to know if Wael's being a bit tight (by alleged 'billionaire' standards) or if DC purposely wants to duck the inevitable pressure and expectation spending a bit of ££££ brings (a la Wenger!). Or if Wael doesn't really have that much money!

One thing's for sure, Wael's not digging too deep into his pocket for new transfers. Presumably retaining the likes of DC, Taylor and Lockyer was chosen as the best use of funds, but was kind of hoping for some exciting new faces.

I didn't mean to offend anyone , I just meant that I don't care what they think on otib. If some do care about what's going on their forum fair enough. Agreed, far too much mention of them on here recently. Really don't care about them and wish people would stop wasting their time talking about them.

Went to but a shirt today but the only sizes left were 4XL. Even the away shirt was 2XL upwards. Ladies in shop didn't know when new stock would be in. Likewise. Whilst I understand it's trivial in the grand scheme of things, it's all pretty shambolic and I can't help but fee the sales of shirts will be significantly lower as a result.

Take note of the +2 sizes advice on this thread! I'm usually a large, was large in last year's kit and being an eternal cynic decided to just go +1 to XL. Just put it on and look a bit like Daffydd, the only g&y in the village from Little Britain. Back to the club shop I go...

Johnson just said he believes the sh** can be in the Europa lge in 5 years!!! Hahahaha It's comments like that which leads to a significant number of fans, not just us, despising them. Which of Everton, Spurs or Liverpool are they targeting overtaking?!

Thanks, but it's pretty expensive to ship over to Hong Kong due to customs duties etc, so I imagine that they won't.

Heading back to Hong Kong on Saturday after holiday and not back until Christmas. Anyone reckon there's any danger of getting a shirt before I leave?!

Had this conversation with a welsh lad earlier, can't recall a player so overrated by the media, it's like an obsession.
