Enjoyable open day has spurred me into FFS action for the new season!
Money transferred for 3 memberships plus 2 adults / 1 child for the Cambridge match.

Finally got junior to finish his Gas Maths, owed another £34.20 which I've done a bank transfer for.
£1.15 (23 * 5 for those not paying attention) was a popular sum towards the end of the season, far more expensive than snake goals!

The boy is behind on his gas maths (5p * goalscorer shirt number) so I've made a £30 interim payment and will settle up at end of season when hopefully he has caught up. In our world Matty Taylor has just cost us £1 with his double against Rochdale!

The boy needs to do some Maths homework so I'm going to kill two birds with one stone ...
5p * goal scorer shirt number for each goal
Ellis cost me 45p if you need a clue. Rory getting back to form or some new attacking signings could get expensive!

Worked out I owe £10 for goals scored by youth team developed players (8 Ellis Harrison, 2 Ollie Clarke) - paid by bank transfer.

Paid up £4 for new signings scoring in pre-season.
During the season £1 for each goal scored by a player who come through the youth team, league and cups.

Paid up for me, Jnr and the Mrs. Plus settled my £4 pre-season gas bill, scorers were a bit thin on the ground towards the end!

Nice work by 'A Trialist' - better turn the heating down, looking to be an expensive Gas Bill!

£1 for every pre-season goal scored by a new signing or that famous football journeyman "A Trialist". Nothing from the first game, hopefully it won't last!

According to the Mrs (also on 3) there's a fault on the local transmitter which they appear to be in no rush to fix!
Think I met you in the Sportsman tonight? Signal is rubbish on Seymour Avenue but fine at the school you built ☺

Put "bristol rovers community trust" into Google and the Football Fun Days are in the first result. Who does that though? Most dad's probably can't even spell it, let along Google it! My guess is Rovers don't have the time or the money to go out and attract local kids...shame as the next generation of kids will seemingly be hoovered up (and then I assume spat out) by Bristol Sport ltd... My lad goes to a BS7 school and they seem to get visited fairly regularly by people from Rovers, they even bought the (hopefully washed!) play-off trophy to one of the sites. There's no shortage of Bristol Sport branding there though as well in the 'guise of Basketball & Rugby. He's been bought up well though so won't be tempted by the dark side :-) He's been to a couple of the fun days (http://www.bristolroverscommunity.org.uk/sport/football-fun-days/) as well and had a good time, no idea how we found out about it though!

They're launching a JR because the lights "are not in keeping with the area". I hope the judge once again laughs these clowns out of court. Another nice bill for the council tax payer to pick up. But pubs, burger, pizza, kebab joints are all fine? Who are these people? Who are these people is a very good question which I look forward to seeing the answer to! I live close to the cricket ground and have several friends whose houses back directly onto the ground and they have no problem with the lights, I wonder if we'll see the delightful Mr Carstairs resurfacing ...

Junior is currently belting out "Hi Ho Bristol Rovers" in the back garden (apologies to anyone in BS7 earshot!) and to save a repeat all the way to Wembley tomorrow I need some suggestions for a Gas Anthems playlist.
We've got Irene, Singing the Blues and Tote End Boys - what else?

Reckon it's just the East Stand seats that have sold out. Looking on the website there's plenty available in the South Stand.
My better half will be making her annual pilgrimage on Thursday, fascinated by this "beardy guy" that gacyki jnr keeps going on about ...

Jnr was Mansell and Sinclair rather than the usual Messi and Neymar so at least one person was won over by the man of the match presentation!

A bit late to the party on this one but have eventually signed me and gacyki jnr up for the FSS (£20 sent via bank transfer), it's great what you all do to support the club,
If it's not too late we'd probably be up for this as well, let me know.
