Very damming again last night. We looked and felt like the away side. Slow sideways backwards football predictable compared to Reading who had the whole squad up for sale in Jan with a lot going. They just waited with pressure football for us to make mistakes which we duly did with fast precise passing cut us to pieces time and time again. Compared to us currently surly has the sh!@er end of the stick but didn’t look like it. That’s coaching style for me not players not playing. All managers up & down the pyramid inherit squads many don’t get any windows. Managers job is to get a tune out of them.
As they saying goes it’s not how you start it’s how you finish God help us UTG

If there is one positive from this season our groundsman have done an incredible job.
Frozen conditions monsoon conditions still playable.
More so than previous seasons I can think of at least one game being called off.

Sounds obvious but you would think have a dedicated pitch at the quarters. Use the south stand that we own that I take we still have somewhere. Use for the girls & development games

Word on the jungle gym is some potential gaffers aren’t keen on working with existing staff. Whilst the new owners comments in this regard are noble and absolutely the right direction, most if not all managers want to bring in at least a number 2. Might be legs in it? From Memory I thought there was big beef between Matt Taylor and JB and the backroom staff a few seasons ago. So wouldn't be surprised if that was a stumbling block. I would imagine also if AM doesn't get the gig when JB gets another managers job they will all be off.

There has been flood lights mounted on the front edge of the new stand taking away the shadow from the floodlights.

It would be great to get JCH over the line
All the vibes sound promising but we've been here before
Last time he was here he scored 3 or 4 of the best goals I've seen from a gas player in 40 years of supporting.
he is a presence up front like he said when he joined last time something like he "likes to bully defenders".
take Wycombe game Keogh wouldn't of had twenty plus free headers if we had JCH.
Come on Wael/Joe/Eddie & the new owner get this over the line statement of intent final piece of the jigsaw.
record signing promotion beckons UTFG

Only a guess but the end by away terrace is half the height of the main part of the Stand in seats. So the might incorporate the screen above those seat if they elevated it

I did pop up yesterday when moving from the sw stand to the new south stand
I wondered over to the away terrace to have a close look at the footprint for the new stand.
Observations were it didn’t taper away like it looks on aerial photos/plans. It looked just as wide where the scoreboard was as the other end.
I did notice a white line on the pitch about 2 meters in so I guess that’s for the pitch move.
I did take a pic but can’t seem to upload as says it’s too large.
It could look a lot better than the image shown and looks as tall as the west stand.
Let’s hope it generates more atmosphere & better gates.
I for one think is a good move and looking forward to taking my seat.

Nothing in my junk mail but they have sent the same confirmation email 3 times. When you say you contacted them is that the club or ticket master? brfctickets@ticketmaster.co.uk they reply quite swiftly

I've ordered my tickets this morning for tonight's game but nothing received yet to print off (although I have been debited) and had confirmation emails. A bit concerned about the reference that tickets can be issued up to 48 hours after purchase. Anyone else had this challenge? This happened to me last week for the Swansea game so I chased them and they said they sent it again still nothing. I checked my junk mail and both were in there worth checking

Surly if we have one spot left in the 22 that should be left for JB to access over the next few games with his contacts could bring in a Gem hopefully JL is a no from me not an area we are weak in I think the squad number cap has been binned off. I thought that was the salary cap

Reality check for TW huff & puff don’t take our chances and pay the price we are an experienced striker short. No difference than PT or BG Hope he has seen 1st hand this time

I can only see a defeat as per most of the better sides against us
sit deep invite pressure on concede, realize we can play football in their half create a few chances don't take any then concede another 0-2 history repeating again
TW will see how much we should have brought a striker in with the outcome no better than BG or PT could do
will defiantly not take the job full time knowing he could get the sack when he's got a cushy job on the BOD's
Hoping we dig in for a draw unfortunately can see it any better than that

The Swindon game away was probably the worst game I've witnessed this season they were a poor side and we were worse!
I believe it was tis first game and so called fed duff intel for the line up by his backroom staff who ironically are still all in a job !
I had this even under Tis reign as a home win as we must be able to start scoring again with the chances created so probably a home banker for TW.
TW will want to change the tis line up a bit I think to put his own stamp on it so he's not copying his predecessor
we may see KoiKi/tutunda/Hare/Harries as I think he will want to shuffle the pack
we shall see

Unless the right appointment can be made now with someone that might not be available at the end of the season
I would appoint internally short term till the end of the season not permanent. So if Mansell wants to see how he gets on if he's a success then offer him a contract going forward if he doesn't then he could refer back his current position
Who ever comes in has to work with the current squad with may be the option of a unattached striker so really not in any better position than tisdale was
Short term for me, have a good last 20 games then decide at the end of season

Wael if we used the money we are using for the severance pay for BG & PT to get in a couple of Marque players in the first place we wouldn't be in this situation
I think it's a case of learning by your mistakes
