Missed oppurtunity but as Gastafan says - 3 wins and a draw in the last 4. Give GC the job and let's get the transfers in!

Frank and slightly emotional interview from Tom. Really struck a chord with me when he said what DC said to him after the news came out. Even if the minority have no respect for him, he will always be a Gas Legend for the majority. Thank you Darrell for everything, now let's move on and fingers crossed all your hard work in getting us to L1 will not be in vain. The interview sounds like Darrell had unfinished business at the club. Gas legend.

InB4 your thread about wishing Wael was still at the club. Exactly - what a moronic thread. I wish I'd never said DC out ... but ... someone else out. There must be someone out. "Ironicially in this 'You don't know what you had until it's gone' thread, I'm going to say Wael out." I knew exactly what I was doing. It's ironic, but hey! Say what you like.

Really can't take this post seriously. You got what you wanted. "Sack DC now, give a new manager a month to get his style of play across the dressing room and make funds available in January for him to bolster this squad. We're going backwards with DC. Have been since we were promoted to L1. Get a new man in to save our season. Wont happen under DC, sadly." This thread is literally me saying I feel I was wrong. I may still be right - we may go in the right direction now, but I feel bad.

Thank god I am not the owner. Thank god all of us aren't the owners, to be honest. My thread titled "Get DC Out Now" has aged really poorly. And it was only made last week.
This is probably the worst decision that could have been made, and thinking right now, faith should have been placed in DC to get us out of this. Recall the conference season - we were in new territory and before December we were dwindling in and around the relegation zone. With little improvement in January, DC got us a point of the title and of course, who can forget that magical day at Wembley? Since then we've always started slow, in League Two we started really slow and there were concerns we were going to go back down, but quickly DC sorted it out and we won promotion in third place. Again, who can forget that magical day against Dagenham? Again, we started slow in the first season in L1, and again the second, but on both occasions we finished mid-table, even finishing in the top-half in the first season. He deserved time.
That doesn't mean he's faultless, he's had his times. Maybe especially this season, but as I stated above, he deserved out time and respect and that's where me and many others have failed. We had no paitence. We have cost Darrell, probably our best manager of all time, his job because of another slow start. That is pathetic.
Ironicially in this 'You don't know what you had until it's gone' thread, I'm going to say Wael out. He is a fraud. He tied DC down to a 5 year contract with the promise that a stadium and training ground would be built. They were not. Through Wael's and our fault, Darrell has lost his job. Wrongly.
Worst decision made in recent history, I think.
Sorry Darrell, and best of *ing luck in the future! Gas legend.

This thread still stands in my eyes though I can now see that this club stinks from top to bottom. Wael needs to go - he clearly does not have the money required to keep this club afloat.

Not in any way an attack on DC and he should be remembered as the man who saved this club with nothing but the trust of the chairman at the time, but the momentum has gone and whilst we have Darrell as manager, we're regressing and now in a relegation scrap. Sack DC now, give a new manager a month to get his style of play across the dressing room and make funds available in January for him to bolster this squad.
We're going backwards with DC. Have been since we were promoted to L1. Get a new man in to save our season. Wont happen under DC, sadly.

We must realise that Wael has given us two new pitches, an improved bar, a new stand (abeit it's crap), has bought the land for a future training ground, formed a development squad and has "toched-up" the ground in areas. We never would have got this if Higgsy was still the owner. Without the investment in our first season back in L1, we'd have been straight back down.
Wael has to put all his faith in DC in January, and DC has to deliver the goods from now until the end of the season. If we go down, I wouldn't be surprised if Wael and co packed their bags and walked.
