I’ve just flown back to the UK and really want to go to the game but struggling to buy tickets online (I’ve not done this for quite a few years). I followed the links, and made an account on ticketmaster but then cannot see the match listed anywhere.
I’m visiting family in Oxford for Christmas which is close to Wycombe so happy to drive down and pay on the day but that seems risky. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I’m currently in Siwa Oasis, but will be on the road back to Cairo tomorrow. I plan to follow the game via the match day thread/bbc news. I’ll be hoping to celebrate with some Egyptian wine back at home tomorrow evening! Come on Gas!

The appointment is not without risks. But Barton is a man with some qualities that I admire. Yes he is hot headed. But a good kick up the a*** is what we need. His is now our manager and I will get behind him 100 percent.

Used to watch him at Dulwich bang them in. Cracking signing.

I grew up in Bristol in the big white house at the top of Wellington Hill as my dad was vicar of Horfield. We even had Holloway round our house once as my dad organised a service where the team came. I moved on to Oxford and the. London and now have lived in Nairobi for around 4 years, but plan to move back to Bristol in the future and get my season ticket.

Hi all,
Just got back from Nairobi for 3 days and absolutely gutted it conincides with the club shop closing for refurb. Such bad timing as was planning on buying a lot to take back to Kenya. Apart from online, are there any other options? I’ve been out of Bristol a long time but didn’t there used to be a shop in Kingswood? Is there anywhere I town where I can buy Rovers related stuff?
Many thanks.

Sorry, never post but I can't stop myself this time. I think if someone wants to go and support Rovers tonight alone, or with their friends and family, they have every right to and I hope they enjoy the game. I think name calling is quite frankly pathetic and I won't take any part in it. Furthermore, the poster polluting this thread with their disillusioned radical opinions on Corbyn, BLM, Islam and Antifa is an embarrassment. Please keep your political thoughts away from a football forum. They are not funny or clever. And it's not like I'm lacking in a sense of humour - ignorant and offensive comments don't belong here. Thanks. Did you manage to find any East African Gasheads? Ha not yet apart from the two lads I gave two of my old shirts to who shout 'Bristol Rovers' at me when they see me crossing the street. Still live and hope!

Hi Everyone,
I read the forum daily (slightly addicted) but never posted. This is a bit of a long shot but I've been living in Nairobi for the last two years and was wondering if there were any Rovers fans around East Africa? I sometimes wear my shirt around to see if anyone will recognise it so I can make a friend who likes the Gas (a bit like a beacon) but no hope yet! I've also given awy 4 of my old shirts to some local lads who wear them around my area and call me Bristol Rovers when I walk past which makes me smile.
Anyway, hopefully it's a nice thought to know Rovers are being represented in Kenya. Can't wait for next season!
