We're heading down there. I'm assuming that we can pay on the day? I can't find any info on it.

Nice job on the info guys. One interesting and important stat is how many individuals have promotions on their CV and the number the squad has as a whole?

Funny you should mention that. I drove over the Transfargarasan for the first time a few weeks ago. Amazing! Everything that the top gear boys said it was. We even saw a brown bear. Ferrari? Lamborghini? Citoen Saxo? Haha, I wish. Dacia Logan! 😁

Thanks. I know Romania is not on the radar for most but it's a great place to live. I watch a bit of Dinamo too, when It doesn't clash with the Gas. You say Romania, I think Top Gear. Funny you should mention that. I drove over the Transfargarasan for the first time a few weeks ago. Amazing! Everything that the top gear boys said it was. We even saw a brown bear.

My wife is a teacher and, over the years, I've qualified as a ESL teacher and a football coach. So I do a bit of both over here. Nice. Thanks. I know Romania is not on the radar for most but it's a great place to live. I watch a bit of Dinamo too, when It doesn't clash with the Gas.

Don’t understand the dislike of Upson. Signed on a free, played 84 games in all comps for us over two seasons, more MOM performances this season on here than any other player, scored some incredible goals, one of the first names on the team sheet under 3 different managers with us, clearly liked by those who understand football, more experience in the Championship than the rest of the squad combined, something like 300+ professional games in the Championship and League 1. Can’t imagine what your reasons are to be fair. This ☝️

I was there with a mate. A long old journey but, wow, was it worth it.
To be fair to Crewe, they we very good on the night. Their big lad up front gave us a torrid time and they probably deserved more but our resilience was there for all to see.
When they scored I felt like my world was caving in and the brilliant atmosphere in our end went flat. It's funny because there felt like this simultaneous realisation between the fans and the players that all we needed was to nick a goal and we were going to Wembley. Up steps Paul Miller and job done. My favourite away night ever.
We also met Danny Murphy's dad in the chip shop outside the ground. He was telling us about living and working in Kingswood.
Amazing night.

How have Cheltenham let this lad walk? He looks ready. Like you mention in your link, left foot, good on the ball, decent in the air. Hell, he was hitting 40 yard passes to feet, last night. I like Rollin and Alfie but I would suggest that Matt is ahead of both of them, going off of last night and your previous assessment. A couple of people involved in the game that I have spoken to were asking the same question. Alan Walsh thought he would be recalled from Weston last season and go into the Cheltenham first team, but it didn't happen. It's a game of opinions and perhaps the decision makers there just didn't rate him enough. Does seem a bit strange to me given his age, attributes and potential. One they could live to regret. I think they will! I wonder if GC took note?

What do you know about Matt Bowers, Pirate? He looked excellent last night. My pick of a decent Bath side. 20 years old, 6 foot 6, mobile, good in the air, great positional sense and a lot of their attacking play seemed to start with him. Better than what we have? Saw him loads last season when on loan at Weston. Was a bit raw, but decent attributes and good potential. One I'd definitely be monitoring if I was at Rovers. I got talking to Alan Walsh at a game and he was scouting him for Stoke. gaschat.co.uk/post/444278How have Cheltenham let this lad walk? He looks ready. I'm emotionally and physically drained. Amazing! Both teams deserve a lot of credit.

I'm really happy with it so far. Decent stream today. It freezes every now and then but catches up quick enough. I'm in Bucharest btw.

Really don't want to knock this signing but does he add anything more than what we already have with James Clarke, Jonny Burn or Joe Partington - seems a bit odd to me. Yes. I think he does. He's a left footer with decent distribution, 6ft3, very strong and dominant in the defensive heading side of his game. He's not slow for a big'un either!!

Broadbent has been the pleasant surprise of pre season for me (and some others). He ticks all the initial requirement boxes and he's still relatively young. He has a military background and that means he's raw for his age but full time pro coaching could really allow him to hit the next level very quickly.
I think it is possible to evaluate players regardless of opposition but obviously better to see them against quality as well. The report from last night suggested that the two Tom's played well together against higher level opposition.
It's as clear cut a trial for me, after watching him for 3 games, as watching Bodin for 2 games (Salisbury and Cirencester). A year as understudy to Sweeney and we will have found ourselves a player. Utg
