Two by elections this week, press reports that the Conservatives have given up and aren't really bothering with campaigning. Maybe that should read two bye, bye elections. Sensible decision not to waste time and money on by-elections that they are i) expected to lose anyway and ii) will be re-run inside the next 12 months at the General Election. Waste money? Seriously?

Sorry to butt in as I'm taking a small break from the General Rovers chit chat, but I'm still waiting for anyone, anyone at all, to outline any benefits we've taken advantage of from voting Brexit. You can use bullet points, graphs, links, anything you like to to show we, as a Country are better off. UK GDP growth has been faster than Germany’s post leaving. It takes 2 minutes to google these things, but if you read the same media which tell you things you want to hear then you won’t hear it. Independent research is key. Media basically is “some bloke” sat on a laptop writing things, and he has all the same prejudices and biases we all have. A familiar logo doesn’t make it any more truthful than someone posting on their blog. The data can’t be faked and a cursory glance at this would show that the claims of Remain were entirely fabricated. Just google the GDP. We are about level with France. The editorials in the Graun etc are now honing in on things like hormone treated beef. As if that’s some major issue the public cares about, and as if when we visit the US or Aus we are terrified of eating steak. Another massive benefit, after you’ve read the data and compared it to what the majority of newspapers and TV stations said, is you now realise they cannot be trusted. However, if you own a business which relies on cheap labour, or if you have a child who doesn’t want to complete a form for their internship with Morgan Stanley in Frankfurt, I have some bad news for you Is that it? UK GDP growth has been faster than Germany’s post leaving? Ok.

Still waiting for our friend Super to highlight a few from the other day. Perhaps he’s still compiling his list? I could post a list - carefully collate all the benefits, check sources to make sure my facts are accurate and explain how it's working both in theory and practice. Waste of my time though, no one actually wants a list... I do.

Lots of games getting called off even though warming up tomorrow. Assume our excellent ground staff have continued the good work since wednesday and no chance of letting it freeze before it warms up again. If they can get Wednesdays game on they can get tomorrows game on. Fair shout to the unsung Ground Staff that get this done, week after week.

II’ll probably get shot down for it but in my eyes everybody deserves a 2nd chance, I think brown was charged for spitting at a woman which of course isn’t acceptable as in any domestic violence. If I remember rightly Jamie carragher spat at a young girl and he’s still a pundit for sky ect. Jevani brown hasn’t hit the form we were expecting, neither has Collins but we no both have potential. Hopefully Matty Taylor can find what is needed as I believe both of these players hitting their forms will benefit us hugely. As for Wael, can’t see what the issue is… he seems like a nice guy and is happy to have a chat with fans ect. He hit her. And that's this thread gone. Well done.

Laughing on your own fella. Oh, I'm not laughing. There's not much to laugh about putting out a statement regarding violent criminals criminals employment at the club and then deleting said statement when you sign a violent criminal. Pretty minging behaviour. On a thread about Aaron Collins.

What have I missed ? Don’t come on here much these days , who’s a liar? Thanks in advance. During the Barton domestic abuse case Wally posted a statement on the Official Website claiming; "Firstly, I think it is really important to confirm that as a club we stand firmly against any form of violence. Any individual that is found guilty of any such offences will be dismissed immediately."This statement was deleted prior to signing Jevani Brown. The full statement can be found on WebArchive here. Wally is a liar. Wael. His name's Wael.

They'll get used to it. We're slowly heading towards an all seater Stadium. Deepdale took nearly 20 years to develop... The real shame is consecutive boards didn't start this when we bought the place. To be fair, several owners have attempted to get us away from the Mem, the new Owner wants to develop where we are, and so far he's doing just that.

If the South Stand can hold 3k, double tier all seated with safe standing lower section, that's got to be what, 5k? Yes, but, standing capacity would be reduced... That's the point. I think there would be a kerfuffle if people currently standing could lose out on their places with a reduced standing capacity. They'll get used to it. We're slowly heading towards an all seater Stadium.

Unless it's a double tier. I can't see there being safe standing in a top tier... So it would at the very least reduce standing capacity at the North end of the ground. If the South Stand can hold 3k, double tier all seated with safe standing lower section, that's got to be what, 5k?

I'd never really thought about it that way until yesterday. Is it likely that the Thatchers would be safe standing with the ground redevelopments? I don't think we need worry about that for a while. Personally I'd be leaving the Thatchers End until last. Developing it could actually lower the capacity. Unless it's a double tier.

That entire area will never, ever sort itself out and we should leave well alone and let them get on with it. If we 'let them get on with it' then hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of people will be slaughtered over religious/cultural differences. An even larger number will flee the region and so most of those that are left won't be classed as 'sensible moderates'... Isn't that what's happening anyway? This isn't new.

It appears there are a fair few Norwich fans that don't care whether they lose or win, as they are dreading a trip to Anfield where they have not won in the last 18 visits and that includes a few thrashings. Unlike us who haven't lost at Anfield for over 25 years. Interesting to see whether Norwich players hearts are really in this game. Of course they'll be up for it. FA Cup at Anfield, who wouldn't be?

So, draw after 90 mins, assume we go to 30 mins extra time and then penalties?
