I'd be happy for a stand by stand rebuild of the mem if I'm honest. The Matchday experience of Gloucester Road and the pubs and cafe's surrounding the ground is great and I think we'd really miss out on that if we moved out of town like Oxford. People might criticise it as lack of ambition but for me the most important thing is to offer supporters good facilities as it would go a long way to growing the fanbase and attracting a new generation of supporters. I really believe that Championship ready facilities and an increase of non matchday revenue could propel our club on to better things but it involves our owners putting their money where their mouth is and the council not standing in the way of it. Two things at present, I really cannot see happening but we'll see. I agree to the supporter, the appeal of having pubs/cafes/food outlets down Gloucester road is great but to a businessman this is competition.
If the stadium is built out of town and offer facilities to cover this, then the club will take all the revenue

Why does it matter to know and who does it benefit to say he will be about for 10 weeks for example?
Imagine the meltdown if people knew we were without him for that long given that we can't bring anyone in
It's not just about Bodin. Burn and James Clarke are out - do other clubs really care if they're injured or how long they're likely to be out - not one iota I would suggest. Some of our supporters may be genuinely interested though. If the club say a player is out for X amount of weeks and isn't back on time, the fans will have a meltdown asking questions about our medical staff. If other clubs aren't aware of how long a player is out for, they will need to do their homework on all players. As Bodin is our most dangerous player, even if he's been out injured they will have to prepare for him to be involved as the club haven't announced a return date.

I seem to be missing something edotb.
What do you class as banter? Racial Abuse, people not getting the assistance they deserve or drug taking?

The guy was useless, people were waving for assistance and the guy was in his own little world. Eventually a couple of stewards and medical staff arrived, helped the guy out and once gone the useless steward arrived.

I have no idea of the guy who was ejected for 'alcohol' related reasons but when the guy fainted in the north terrace, a very drunk guy got rowdy with the steward's for not responding to calls. He ran down to voice his opinion and wasn't seen again.

Announce plain yellow third kit that gets used instead of the away kit after first defeat in it. P.S is that a hashtag in the bottom right hand corner ? The club have confirmed for the home kit it says MPerformanceSystem so guessing it's the same for the away

Loving the away kit although the sponsors on both aren't great.

Great news!! Not changing the subject but does anyone else get a feeling that the ground will be going ahead now? DC wants to progress and without the new ground, he can't reach his intended goals.

Thanks for pinning Hugo.
Not much interest but the Ball sold for £30 and the shirt £100.
All for a very good charity.

Hi All,
A good friend is raising funds for Children with Cancer. He is running a auction on Facebook for a signed Ball and Signed Away Shirt (Size Large). Both items will be sold individually. The auction is running until Sunday evening. If you would like to make an offer, please head over to the Passionate Gas Heads or Bristol Rovers Appreciation page or contact me directly on here and I can make the offer on your behalf.

I pay on the day and with my £2 change from a match ticket, buy 2 50/50's. If the cost went up 10% to £20, although it wouldn't deter me from going I would probably carry on past the seller.

can see us selling loads over the weekend especially with a home game Saturday Been told we'll get more if we sell the second allocation too I've heard there's another 1000 if we sell out the 1500. Could be a very good away crowd!

Just over 6FT. Same height as Big Pete Hartley. I was hoping for a couple of more inches...oh well, never mind. Don't we all wish for that?

A day after Burn's night, we sign Burn. Is it a special day today as could be a clue to our next signing? So what Aussie are we signing being Australia day and all?

I think a lot of the boo'ing was directly aimed at the ref who made a couple of awful decisions just before.
Not that the players know this...!

Good report Steve. Leadbitter was very lucky to not conceed what looked like a penalty to me when Taylor gave the ball away, maybe the ref knew he made a mistake in not giving a free kick. Second half we looked very good and I think goals will come, the concern is keeping a clean sheet. I think we will go to a back 5 on Saturday for that reason, would be nice to see Line, Boatang and Colkett in the midfield 3 if that is the case. Harrison is so frustrating, I think he does have the potential but he always looked so flat footed and doesn't anticipate anything. He wins headers when he has time to think but other than that he didn't impress.
