πππππ On please. As in your words Yatton "cry me a f**king river". So we all have to feel sorry for Angie because she was bought up in poverty. Being bought up in poverty doesn't give you the right to not declare a profit that is subject to Capital gains tax by "potentially" lying and cheating the system. Maybe if she had got herself an education rather than getting knocked up ar age 15 she would know better. My wife was bought up in Ireland in real poverty (which I can guarantee was far worse than what Angie endured) and she has bought herself up with more morals in her little finger than what Angie has. So no I have zero sympathy for the tax dodger. You don't see the irony of her being chased by non Dom's? Do you see the hypocrisy of her buying her council house under a scheme introduced by a party she loathes, introduced by a Prime Minister she loathes gaining a Β£48000 profit and not paying a penny in CGT that everyone else who sold within the time scales has paid. Oh and she plans to make changes to the scheme not allowing others to gain as she did. That's the hypocrisy of it.

You don't see the irony of her being chased by non Dom's? France is an absolute belter π ! Droning on & on about Raynor and a few grand but absolutely no words said on the Tory corruption, tax evasion etc for literally millions of pounds . Honestly donβt know how he has the brass neck to post his nonsense π Blimey you really don't like people responding to your posts that you don't agree with. Typical of you to revert to insults without actually responding to points raised. Inview of the fact you were the one who posted a tweet about poor old Angie being raised in poverty it seems your the better!!ππππ If this was a Tory raised in a privileged house you'd be all over it like a rash but because boo hoo poor Angie didn't have a proper upbringing she shouldn't pay back tax she potentially owes. Oh the hypocrisy of it all.ππππππ

Keep up, it's now Β£17k that she should have paid back under the right-to-buy scheme because she was not living in the house she bought under it... Wanna bet that she doesnβt have to pay back a penny ? Of course she won't because Starmer has the police in his pocket. Like he did in Durham.

Why? She was calling for Boris' head when there was an investigation before any outcome. So if she sticks to her moral standards she should resign before any conclusion of an investigation . Because anyone with half a brain knew Johnson was guiltyΒ Makes no difference Angie was calling for him to resign before any outcome so why doesn't she.

It's not even proven yet. Even GB news top expert said " she could owe up to Β£3k ". Google it. " she could " it might be zero. What a grass the Tory MP is . Anyone could grass on anyone of a tax bill of up to Β£3k over 10 years. This equates to 300 a year . Itβs very importantβ¦β¦. My friends France & Super have been banging on about this for weeks ! πππ And if it were a Tory you would be banging on about it and you know it. Does it matter how much it is? If she owes it she should pay it.

...so by her own self-imposed standards I assume she is resigning later today....? Surely we should wait for the investigations to conclude? π Why? She was calling for Boris' head when there was an investigation before any outcome. So if she sticks to her moral standards she should resign before any conclusion of an investigation .

Anyone think it's a little ironic that Labour have announced when they are elected they are going after tax dodgers!
Think they need to look a little closer to home first πππ

Well, precisely. Should party members over rule the will or diverse interests of the constituency as a whole? The conservative membership has shrunk a lot I think in the last 20 yrs , so it doesnβt take a lot of loons to vote in their preferred loon . They speak for the people ( so weβre told ππ) . Then we get Sunak on tv telling us absolutely no one is asking for a general election!! Labour party membership has reduced by 170,000 since 2018. They lost 25000 members in 2022 alone.

Just watched the Beautiful Game on Netflix. It's about the Homeless World Cup. Worth a watch. It's quite funny with Bill Nighy playing the England Coach.

I kid you not ,when I joined Lloyds Bank in Bristol in 1973 worked with a guy called Walter Closset, who does that to their kidsπ€π€ I joined TSB in 1983 and we had a customer service officer named Phillip McAveety. It was incredible how many people shortened his first name and mispronounced his surname.

Was there once a lady called Fanny Tickler or was that a bit of an urban myth? There's a German Skier called Fanny Chmelar.

Perhaps some clubs could follow the Brighton method of running a football club who have just posted a Premier league record of post tax profits of Β£122.8M.

The end of free speech in part of the UK as Scotland's Hate crime act comes in to force. They're preparing J K Rowling's cell as we speak.

When have I advocated cutting benefits for the poorest? I just do not believe earning more on benefits than those who work. Surely that's logical. It gives an incentive for some to find a job and pay their way in life. Putting 20% on private school fees will put over 100,000 more children into state education as their parents some of whom work 2 or 3 jobs will no longer be able to afford the fees. It's not just the richest in society who pay for private education. Why not means test it before slapping the label of they must be rich because they sent their kids to a private school. Give me some examples of those that βearnβ more on benefits than working?Β As for the school fees β¦β¦cry me a fΕ±cking river π I give up. As I say you dismiss everybody else's view because it doesn't conform with yours or the loony left. Enjoy your break away.

A Motorhome...even more expensive my apologies. Why do you constantly dismiss views from other people. You may not agree but at least put forward an argument against like Stu does. I take it as you laughed your anti people with money (that seem somewhat hypocritical), anti parents wanting the best education for their children, and that people on benefits have every right to earn more than those people going out to work. Those are the only "3" points I raised and you laughed at them so you obviously believe in the opposite....Got it ! Just find it ridiculous you advocate cutting benefits for the poorest but then rail against VAT on school fees for the richest in our society. So ridiculous that a laughing emoji should tell you exactly what I think ππ When have I advocated cutting benefits for the poorest? I just do not believe earning more on benefits than those who work.
