Safe standing can be used in the championship as an alternative to seating, thing is whatever they do to the east it will be under cover like the new South stand. So fans won't be fully open to the elements, which was the point I was trying to make .Extensions should be built in a similar style to the new stand . This worries me a little. So you are suggesting the East remains as is and either side there will be 2 structures like the south stand. I hope this is not the case. Can we please just do something properly. agreed that would look horrible

Read the comments on here and a friend of mine went last night and recorded for me and I also listened this morning. I’ve been a critic of the new owners, for sure they came in and made some rash decisions like offering the managers job to several people, cutting hotel accommodation, dragging our heels on player singing and manager support. But and I say but, maybe they need grace on coming into a club haemorrhaging money and in total disarray. I just hope as well they have learn from their own mistakes. I said it was common knowledge at the club and in football that the new owners pulled the plug on the JCH deal, at the time I was told I was making it up, I’m glad last night we got clarification of this. I keep saying We Have Got Our Rovers back, maybe not 100% but it’s clear to see The Scouse Mafia given free rein by Wael and TG left this club in a terrible state. If any club took on the combo of Barton and Jennings again, I’d fear for their future. We pulled the plug on JCH because he tried screwing us over at the last minute. The fault lies entirely with him . Yeah but what about all the users on here that said it was Rovers fault, are you saying they were all wrong, naaa I don't believe it!

At work I am the regional charity co-ordinator and we raise tens of thousands for charities such as Macmillan, Mind, Cash For Kids(giving Xmas presents for families in poverty), the homeless and animal shelters. As a grandparent, my physical activity extends to giving my granddaughter a piggyback and playing horsey. The young whippersnappers from other regional office do physical challenges such as Three Peaks, abseiling, ultra marathons and Tough Mudders, so I thought what mental challenge can I do. I am sure many of you are aware of the Wallis and Gromit Wrong Trousers campaign to raise funds for Bristol Children's hospital. Well I am going one further and pledging to wear a (apologies for the bad language) City shirt (yueck!) at work AND whilst selling programmes and 50/50s AND whilst watching the Cambridge game on 16 April. I will post more details idc and hope you donate some spare monies and can show understanding (ie not shout Sheethead at me too much on the day). you're a bigger man than me, I just couldn't do it, I give to that charity anyway as they've helped my family out in the past, good charity

Also worth noting at Gloucestershire Cricket; Under 16 with a personalised T20 shirt - £39 16-24 - £89 Yea. Cricket is rubbish though. Wow, this must be the only 'REPEAT' only thing I have ever agreed with you on, better treasure this probably won't happen again

And would still have them next season for a proper push if it doesn't work out. If they all join, we'll be in Europe in 5 years 🤭 maybe we will play Bristol Sport 1982 Ltd in the final

what about Thomas, isn't he worth anything? Can't imagine anyone above us would want him so unless a Wrexham or Stockport get involved then I can't see him wanting to take a sideways move. what he's one of our best players, I'm sure loads above us would love to have him

Guess he's our only asset with any value so it makes sense if the people saying we need to balance the books more are correct. what about Thomas, isn't he worth anything?

Hi Gasworkers , Grimsby fan in peace . It sounds like the deal will go through now which will be somewhat of a relief to you all I'm sure . So what sort of player is he ? I have seen every game of ours this season and as a whole you would say he has been good . He's played as the holding midfield player as the pivot of a 3 . His main strengths are tackling ,teamwork and in my mind the one that stands out is the ability to receive the ball in tight areas ; his press resistance is incredible for the lower leagues , normally when a player receives the ball into feet from the centre backs or keeper your thought is 'oh oh ' or at least is for us. But he can receive the ball with 1 or 2 men on him and pretty much NEVER lose . He's very simplistic with his passing and keeps the ball moving -- he will need to be playing in a team that works the ball from the back through otherwise will be wasted . I saw him a few times at Gateshead and he played the right of a three in midfield more box to box which is a job he also did well so it might not be nailed on he plays the more restricted role like he did with us . I think it's a good move for all parties tbh we are not going anywhere this season (hopefully not down ) with a good fee + sell on .Barring injuries I can see him playing Championship minimum in the next couple of years ,so I suppose it depends how you do whether you can keep hold of him . I have been mildly amused with the varying degrees of drama I must admit at times over the last couple of days it's seemed their maybe a nucleur explosion . I will keep reading and interested to see how Kamil does . Cheers Gasheads and good luck for the season Hi Grimsby boy, please go back to your forum and apologise for our admin, I'm sure they ment it as a laugh and ment no harm but it is a bit disrespectful to you and you're a good club with good fans.
