He has to go, last night confirmed it for me. Shocking lineup and tactics. It seems the players wanted Mangan and played for him. Player power not to be underestimated. They played for Taylor initially to get us safe. It seems now they are proving a point to the hierarchy by downing tools for false promises maybe? I don't like to see Taylor being treated like this but feel he is now damaged goods and a victim of the massive black cloud JB left over the club following his sacking. Sad times but a complete clear out and reset required.

Really couldn't see the point in replacing Azza this window when playoffs are out of reach. Would rather some of the money was invested in an assistant to work alongside MT thus freeing him up to work more strategically. Not sure we have 750k to blow when we have paid off JB and his staff. Pleased with Conteh signing and keeping hold of Evans and Taylor. Loans will bolster squad with energy and hopefully help us over the line to a respectable finish. Priority's next window has to be a striker and a top quality goalkeeper although I fear another squad overhaul with MT like players.

Good luck Azza thanks for many happy and positive times. Just as soon as that smile went something changed which is fair enough, you have to maximize your earning potential. Very rarely injured and always at it, my goodness we've had our monies worth out of you and people should remember that. Go well at Bolton and thanks for your efforts.

Disappointing if Gordon goes think he's a decent footballer but he was recruited with possession based football in mind under JB. Gibbons not up to standard of L1 gives the ball away far to often and not quick enough.

I completely respect AM and the circumstances he has found himself in. In a results business he has got the results and got us back on track. Its right he has his name in the hat and given consideration for the role. I'm very much against give it to him till Xmas or the rest of the season. A manager needs backing mid to long term to create their road map for success. Does AM have the skillset to get us challenging top 8 as well as the skills to develop the club behind the scenes with no previous experience being the main man? If the owners are ambitious they will employ experience and some one proven at L1 and above. The next appointment is massive as JB has left us with a good squad and higher professional football standards. Hope AM stays as coach and thanks for steadying the ship but we must aim higher.

Saw white ones on a picture BRFC blue seats running through them ? That would be pretty good, also white seats wont fade. Remember Sunderland's going pink!

Being head of a corporate bank should give expertise in financial deals/negotiation as well as access to a wealth of individuals in the field of finance. Its about money right? We don't have any evidence of expertise in anything. Since they have been involved directly or indirectly all we have had is the new stand shambles, the embarrassing JCH deal farce and now this new stadium situation. I gave you an answer now you are diluting the debate in hand.

Wael doesn't deserve the level of disrespect he gets. Personally don't think the FM is dead in the water its probably at a crucial stage of financial negotiation and we are trying to get some leverage using media outlets to get a better position. The new shareholders are experts in this field hence why Wael has got them on board to try and get a stadium over the line. Until the club make a statement saying its off and are exploring other options I still believe it has a chance. Playing devils advocate have we found a better option? What proof and evidence do you have that "the new shareholders are experts in this field"? Do we still think this is as unrealistic as the majority did when I posted this 10 days ago?? Is there actually any evidence that we are interested in signing him? I’ve just scrolled through Twitter and every other Rovers related post is about JCH but I still don’t see any actual links? I’m sure the management are looking for a striker. We were interested in Alfie May (I’m not sure if we actually made an offer?) so that suggests we are at least looking. I think we were definitely in for Alfie May. Perhaps now with new investment we have a bit more cash to splash and JCH could be on our radar. We get 20% discount on him as well which helps. Personally would go after Nombe who would be a better investment.

I think we will see how serious we are in the remainder of the transfer window. Passages of play going forward this season so far have looked the best in a long time. However I still think we have a problem when we don't have the ball. What we need is pretty obvious and that's basically someone who can break up play and get us on the ball and a bagsman no 9. If it was a choice I would spend big on a DCM because that's the glaring gap in our squad, basically what Coutts/Whelan did for us in L2. Judging by the amount of chances we are creating a quality no 9 would thrive, wish we got Alfie May! Basically get in a quality DCM and a Striker and we cook!! Unless a proven goal scorer can be obtained, like JCH, I would stick with Marquis. He will get 10-12. There's a lot of players in the team who capable of that number, Brown, Collins, Evans, Thomas. DCM most important for me. 100% agree there is still goals in the team. Love Marquis and he has a role but its all about how clinical we want to be.

The fact that we are now aspiring to signing players of the caliber of JCH just proves that there's been a massive ambition shift in the last few days! Fully expect a marquee signing of sorts given our new investment. If the board have ambition this season to challenge the playoffs then a player of JCH's quality would show intent.

Welcome to the gas Connor. A 6'6'' jumping wall was just what we needed to compliment our defensive options. He's going to be a massive threat at set pieces as well. Excited for the new season.

JCH would definitely compliment our attacking options. Given our 20% sell on fee due we could potentially get him cheaper. If our new investors wanted to make a statement then JCH would be that signing. At 29 he's got to be worth upwards of 1 million. Would rather we spend big on a DCM as a marque / icing on the cake signing.

Attended yesterday and was mightily impressed with Ryan Jones. Another player that stood out was Sinclair as he looks extremely sharp and his touch was fantastic. Luca Hoole stood out as well what a player he is becoming. I don’t think Loft did his cause any good yesterday but I don’t want to be to critical when playing for fitness rather than points. We probably should have put 2 or 3 more into them but lacked a bit of sharpness in front of goal. The new CBs Wilson and Friend look exactly what we need with their composure and reassurance at the back. Can’t be to critical at this point but for me would like to see a new GK to challenge Belly. Another CB in the mould and age of Connor Taylor. Keeping the ball out of our net still has to be a priority after last season. Going forward we are looking good would maybe offload Loft and McCormic if they continue to look bang average in pre season. No sign of Rossiter or Grant yesterday. Hopefully they are close full fitness and can get some kind of game time pre season. Thanks for this. Got a feeling we may see Jones used in the squad this season rather than going back out on loan. Has always looked incredibly bright whenever I’ve seen him. Having Gordon and Jones at left back looks promising. If Gordon can improve again this season after a very promising first season playing first team football then we have quite a player. If Jones can progress to the first team squad this season and get some starts then we will be really well stocked at LB.
