Just watched the highlights of Chelsea vs Barnsley and talk about a team that look out of sorts with playing out from the back. Definitely one to watch to see what happens to you if you hesitate or are uncomfortable on the ball with these tactics. Scary! [br Look at the cheatski team! Not a surprise and well done the tykes first trying it.

Thanks for your service keith👍, but the club is hopefully moving in a more professional direction, I personally think it’s long overdue. 21 years service, at any workplace, is admirable. But fingers crossed, we’re on the up. More professional? The Pirate has won countless awards for being the best, his commentary on games will be missed even more. His knowledge of the players and banter well I will leave it there. It basically should never have happened by email, but that is the crap modern world for you.

What a really odd sentiment, there have been times when I have had no love for the WRU and the FAW but I've never wanted Wales to fail, isn't that called cutting off your nose to spite your face? For the record even I want England to win the World Cup! Like you I am Welsh, but lot's of people don't get that as I was born in Bristol but represented Wales at athletics through my fathers and all of his forefathers where welsh, well up to my great-great-great grandfather who was from near Shrewsbury, so still Welsh! I am 100% behind England and honestly think we could make the final.

Joking aside, when looking at the fixture list it's pretty hard to make a serious case for us finishing top 6 this season. Nothing is certain of course, and there will be some who over achieve and some who under achieve, but sides like Sunderland, Scunthorpe, Charlton, Portsmouth, Bradford, Barnsley, and maybe Blackpool, Plymouth, Luton and Coventry would all look strong contenders ahead of us.
I have no doubt we will continue to be competitive and entertaining, but think that we may have to be realistic over what we can achieve this season. That's not necessarily a bad thing though, as the club has much to do off the pitch to match any ambitions we might have on it. Provided we continue to show signs of progress and, crucially, keep hold of one of the best managers outside the top flight, I'll see this season as a success. Good point. Not sure Blackpool and Scunnie are in a position to keep pushing the boat out though. Coventry also don't get any revenue from their home games apparently. Barnsley, new manager, players being sold, yes going to love playing them as the Mrs is a massive fan. Charlton are in the mire, Of the promoted teams think Luton is the one to look out for, The posh is still the one team to look at simply because of the money they spend.

Can you imagine trying to explain this to an accountant or better still an American accountant - - - "so we could get considerably more gate money but we choose not to, and we could make easy money on alcohol in the ground but we choose not to and we could make more in ground food sales if we sold alcohol instead outside outlets will benefit" hmmmm Easy all the food goes to the ex owner of the club, he owns all the buildings next to the club, so a slice of their profits go to him. All OUFC get is the ticket price plus a pittance. As for the crowd that is a TVP issue and the last few matches explain why they take that stance.

Quite simple get a lift, leave home at 1pm have a laugh and a few beers, home by 5;30pm. The joys of a home game.

Somewhat embarrassing. There are 2 forums. Use and enjoy both. No need to slate one or the other and certainly no need to deliberately troll either forum. Maybe a nice IP ban from mods on both boards would be a good solution..... Now where did I put Sprouts email address? PM me, good idea.

Didn't take the BBC long to drop the Westminster incident from the main headline on their website. Now appears to have been put on the same level as Tesco changing their trolleys to accept the new £1 coin. No words. MMM Channel 4 about to be sued for releasing the name of a man in prison? BBC taking their time and listening to the police. Each days news change, and forgive me what the hell has this to do with the gas apart from a newspaper wanting more hits on a monkey servey?

On the other forum "176k stolen, all bar 42k recovered and that is covered by a charge on a property being sold apparently."

Someone's tired? It would be a very boring site if we didn't have a bit of jovial banter and the odd p**s take? But if that's what you want go for it, each to their own. We could always call it the 'library section' for sensible posters only? Tired as in bored yes. As you say each to their own,the ones who want to discuss Rovers will have the new forum, and the 'jovial banter' bods can stay on here...sounds like a plan, well done. have you tried gasheads.org/board/2/gas-guzzler ?

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the famous Watney Cup Victory the SC in conjunction with Screen Soccer invited ex players to reminisce about the game. A souvenir brochure was produced and today's BOTS features a brochure The other item is a orange schare scheme tee shirt signed by one of the squads from an away game earlier this season (ie while both Chelsea boys and Matty Taylor were at the club.) why do you never post this on the other forum? nothing against this one but you want to get maximum publicity.

Millwall as a club have tried over and over to improve their image . The trouble is Millwall have a reputation and that attracts idiots who wanna be tough. Not sure what the answer is for them. Why ,when you consider, did the Barnsley fans get given a block directly next to the Millwall fans on the upper tier when another block could easily have been put aside ? Seems a strange decision, a block behind the goal would have seemed a logical choice. Nail hit on the head! especially as the upper tear on the Tykes end was empty from the few fans right around to the other side!

It was nowhere as bad as TV has portrayed it. When the Millwall fans ran at the Tykes on the upper level it was stupid, it could be seen for ages and the stewards / police had it covered. Where they real Millwall fans? last minute ticket sales to kids more like it, there where empty seats behind the Millwall goal and in Club England seats. Outside it was half a dozen of one half a dozen of the other. Don't get me wrong was not good getting the underground back to Paddington, but have been to a lot worse. Happy we have to play Millwall rather than the TYkes next season, if Millwall can finish in the top 6 then there is nothing to fear. Why are you talking in the third person? I'm shocked you're not drowning your sorrows after missing out on promotion? Sorry if it sounded that way I am a gashead and the wife is a Tyke! Yes the first train home was a bit let's say uneasy, but the general feeling of the whole day was it's a party it's Wembley. A few scrummages leaving the stadium but it was more about drink and young stags rather than Millwall history. Best bit was the train home from paddington, out sung the Rugby lot! (with only 11 tyke fans).

It's a complete sell out like us, lot's of oufc friends have said this one is the game they feared the most in the run in. Saying that I still think Accy will only draw. Imagine them both only drawing.
