Some very harsh comments on here. Tranmere never looked like beating us at any point so what more can you ask for? We at least tried to get the ball wide and hit JCH tonight, against Wycombe the other day there was no discernible strategy whatsoever.

Clearly didn’t listen to Hamer on the radio then, caller said one of our players told him and twentyman confirmed it. No Twentyman did not confirm it. Twentyman said he had HEARD it. The two are completely different. Something people om here seem to struggle with greatly. Why would he even have commented if he wasn’t sure it was true. He isn’t obligated to address every remark.

Our players have to pick dog**** off the training pitch before they are able to start training, when you take that into account creating a job for a mate sounds exactly like the sort of thing that happens at the new 'professional' Bristol Rovers. Up the crazy gang etc... That I know for a fact is blatantly not true.... There is a permanent grounds man who lives at the training ground and as well as maintenance for the pitches (there are 4 grass pitches there and one 4g surface as well as tennis courts and the club house and changing rooms) part of his responsibility is to ensure there is no faeces from the wild animals on the pitches (typically foxes) ... he does this before any team trains or plays up there and it’s done c1hr before teams arrive. In the event that some is left in that gap then yes a player may be required to remove it but only if the grounds man is not available! I know this as a fact as I have used the facilities and continue to do so for the last c30years! If the gas could buy the entire training ground and own it for sole purpose it would be fine for us. The reason we only have access to one pitch and the 4g is because of the fact it is home to so many other local amateur teams who rent thy space and train there. Knock the club if you like but don’t make up blatant lies Clearly didn’t listen to Hamer on the radio then, caller said one of our players told him and twentyman confirmed it.

The draw was the fair result, gutted. James Clarke was our best player, and all of Pompey’s defence looked solid including browner and the keeper. Didn’t think they were anything that special going forward. From HT up until the red we were all over them.

This is getting a bit creepy, I have a near 100% record of including a players name as part of my password and they then either leave or get injured within the month. I am due to change it again shortly, any suggestions? Nichols123

most stupid comment today, how many players did he sign 8 or 9 ?? He said 11 new players what he signed was 8 which 4 of them are hardly used we are still 4/5 players short if you ask me I think some signings he makes are just too keep the fans happy that we've signed someone Not working very well is it!

you need your head checked you silly prat it's a football forum Ignore him, he's one of those weird alt-right types that gets off on baiting people online and thinks an 'anti-PC' stance is somehow courageous. Probably still thinks the Pepe the Frog meme is edgy... Real shame that so many have bitten in this thread, and failed to see the nature of the OP. However I struggle to understand why when a poster goads others and receives a reaction, the majority of this forum chooses to condemn those who are reacting to deliberate provocation, rather than the person who is doing the provoking. The irony of Chewbacca liking the above post hasn't escaped me.

That is indeed enough. No more of the above in this thread from anyone or we'll have to start deleting posts, banning etc. which is tiresome for everybody involved. If you're that desperate to bicker like children then by all means, but do it in a private message so the rest of us don't have to endure it. Tempted to lock this thread as it is.

Can't say I understand the references to political correctness. Nobody has censored this post, and you'd have to be an unbelievably delicate flower to find this offensive. It just isn't funny. No wonder we get some stick on OTIB if this is the best we can come up with.

Why is Slocombe not long-term? Odd comment, 29 is just coming into your peak as a goalkeeper, so this isn't necessarily the case. Although I agree that Smith looks a more likely no 1. Smithy looks like he's in for the long run & when he gets a run of games, Slocombe will surely get bored of being the no.2 and leave. Cant see Slocombe getting a run of games unless Smithy's a flop. Fair point. Guess DC might at least try and rotate in the cups etc.

These two will help the gas to the promised land of the championship Smith, I think, will be No. 1. He looks long-term, unlike Slocombe. Why is Slocombe not long-term? OK, here's one: A man and his father are involved in a car accident. The father is killed outright but the son is barely alive and is rushed to hospital. As he lies on the operating table, the surgeon comes to the room but immediately leaves. The other surgeon asks, "why don't you come and operate on this man?" and the surgeon replies "I can't, this man is my son" How is that possible? Surgeon is his mother? Heard it somewhere once I think and nobody got it.

Nobody can see who you voted for so try and be honest. The mods can. I'm able to see who has voted but not what they voted for as far as I can tell.
