Adora Dick went to school in Bath (can’t believe there is more than one), albeit back in the 70’s. So there you go, your brother wasn’t kidding. Cheers Blueside. A copper? Jeez, I'll bet she got some err...stick. She was definitely old bill as I worked with her on occasions in the early 1990’s

Perhaps it was Kevin Spencer 🤔 I don't think he posts on here. BuckNaked the “American” poster hasn’t posted for sometime.

Random 1 Random 2 The OP's clearly had one to many on holiday and on a total wind up. Paul doesn’t drink, matt. Watching Rovers sober, must be horrendous!

Be good to hear from the Supporters Director, to get their thoughts on current match day prices.

I’m not upset as I’ve got my ticket. Just saying that ST holders should have priority and if it means cancelling tickets, so be it. Yes I bought a ticket last night and i don’t have a season ticket ( this season!). Would happily forego going so a season ticket holder can go and rightfully take their place . The club on the other hand 🙄 Hope it won’t come to that and Rovers/Ticketmaster will sort things out, but great words. 👍 UTG

Of course I feel sorry for the people who bought them in good faith, if they were cancelled, but maintain that ST holders should have priority. UTG If the club can blanket cancel ticket holders who have more than x amount of tickets then surely that would be the fairest way forward. There can’t be many instances where individuals have genuinely purchased more than say 10 tickets all to themselves. A decent data analyst should surely be able to knock this together in an hour if they know the data model. If it’s more complicated than that then the model is too complicated. A count of purchasers and how many tickets were bought. Cross reference against season ticket holders. I agree, if someone has made a “bulk” purchase I would look to cancel.

I don’t disagree with your desire, but that is not what the club and or Ticketmaster implemented. Cancelling tickets is detrimental to others who bought them in good faith. They did not knowingly stop a ST holder buy them. Of course I feel sorry for the people who bought them in good faith, if they were cancelled, but maintain that ST holders should have priority. UTG

Maybe a second hand car. I will agree to disagree as it’s not me you should be upset with. I’m not upset as I’ve got my ticket. Just saying that ST holders should have priority and if it means cancelling tickets, so be it.

Its better than a ST holder not having a ticket. It would be absolute chaos. You cannot sell things and then change your mind. You can.

It is the only way to do it. Cancel and refund non ST holders and start again on Thursday. That’s also not great. I bought a ticket in good faith yesterday. Taken a day of work for the game, and then you say it should not be honoured. Sure many people will have made plans. Its better than a ST holder not having a ticket.

Spoke to someone this morning who visited the club shop and total chaos - apparently Ticketmaster released all the terrace tickets and seems all purchased tickets will be cancelled and refunded for reallocation to season ticket holders etc - totally confused, did manage to get our reserved seats yesterday evening on line 🙄 It is the only way to do it. Cancel and refund non ST holders and start again on Thursday.

The only way they will wake up to this is if you threaten them for breach of contract.

I read it as seats not terraces and when the statement was put out the draw hadn't been made. Let's say we got Ipswich or Posh away next round I bet there isn't a sell out for the replay. Hindsight is a great thing and if the club had waited until this morning to announce the ticket info then things may have been handled different. No blame on the club from me it's just one of those things No blame? The club have broken their contract with season ticket holders to protect their tickets for cup games if they've now sold them? Exactly this. They have broken the contract of sale and could be sued.

"All season ticket holders will have their seats reserved until 7pm on Wednesday 10th January, when any unclaimed seats will be released." Nothing was said about terrace season tickets? All terrace ST holders have a “seat” reserved in their profile/account, it’s just on the terraces (if that makes sense).

It’s obviously a total mess up terrace ST holders weren’t given priority.
They should cancel and refund all non season ticket sales, and put remaining tickets on general sale Thursday morning.

My New Year's resolution is to accept with a quiet calm that some people just will always spell the word Lose as Loose. Happy New Year everyone. And Defence as Defense!!!!! And Licence as License.Ban these 'Americanisms' I say. Talking of Americanisms what happened to the new poster BuckNaked? On here for a couple of weeks pretending to be an American Rovers supporter living in NASCAR county. It was obvious at the time that he wasn’t who he was pretending to be (basically lying to fellow supporters). My resolutions are: That everyone only has one account that they keep to. Please don’t lie to other Gasheads. No name dropping. No tittle tattle insider information from the training ground. UTG

Found him extremely frustrating. He had loads of ability but just didn’t appear to have the motivation, wasn’t at all surprised or disappointed when his contract wasn’t renewed. Still that was a long time ago and I’m sure WC will be a great addition to the management team, if he is offered/accepts the job. It’s strange how some players have a different style/attitude when moving into management or coaching. George Graham had a languid, lazy style and was nicknamed Stroller as a player but his management style was ultra disciplined, rigid and workman like!! I agree Eric, the best managers/coaches are the ones that learn from their past mistakes and retaining knowledge (and use it) from previous colleagues/coaches/managers. WC has obviously worked hard as a coach to (hopefully) come to us with such a good reputation. I truly believe that WC could have been a really good player if he’d had put in the hard yards.

Ironic he might return as a coach / assistant manager Never rated him as a player here I dunno, he promised much and occasionally delivered some nice Free Kicks as I recall. A highlight in some awful div 4 teams that I have tried to forget. Certainly not the worst player or midfielder of that era. Found him extremely frustrating.
