Why can't the club communicate this news to us and provide some sort of clarity of what is happening moving forward... How we intend to improve and strengthen various departments? Maybe a Q&A session with the new owners, CEO and Manager. Maybe they could appoint a PR person and director of communications first, because our communication and interaction with the fanbase is diabolical! Maybe because it has nothing to do with us? I do find it funny when people harp on about the club not telling the fans how they run their business. Just because you want to know doesn't mean you have the right/have to know Maybe just get back to blindly supporting the team like fans are meant to lol

Send Crama back to Brentford. I’m not sure I’ve seen him have a good game yet this season - always seems to have a mistake in him He was pretty immense at the start of the season before he got injured, hasn't been the same player since the lay off

He’s delusional if he thinks week by week performances have got better Have you ever heard of psychology? He recognises that if you boost the teams confidence and self belief then they will perform better. We have a talented team of players who just lack self belief It's what got us promoted (along with EA). The belief in that squad of players towards the end of the season was unreal

The best football in the second half of that League Two season was played by us IMHO. He did a good job at Exeter, but I just think it was the right fit with him at the club. We have been unlucky when injuries too, will he be able to cope with that better here? I look at his signings this summer and I'm not impressed. He's got a good win percentage at Exeter in League Two because he did a good job, but unproven at this level and doesn't have a great record at the level above. Couldn't find solutions to change away form at Rotherham with zero wins in the past year, this season conceding an average of 2 goals a game with just two wins from their 16 league games and leaves with a 20% win percentage, a PPM of 0.90 and a minus 38 goal difference. Exeter were in the top half of League 1 when he left. Even in the 2nd half of the season when we were doing well, they were one of the teams we couldn't beat at the mem. He said how sad he was to leave Exeter as he had a new born son and liked the area etc. He might be more settled in the South West and get back to what he does best. His team played attacking football, he got the best out of his players and helped to bring youngsters through. He's not experienced promotion at this level, but he's not had a chance to yet! Living in Cornwall, Plymouth fans were happy to see him leave Exeter. That says a lot. Seem the right fit for us. Hasn't made it in the Champ but can't imagine it's an easy job at Rotherham tbh. He might be able to get J Brown playing to his potential again after working with him before. Not a reason to give him the job I know but JB has been pretty frustrating this season

So unless under Mangan we beat any Team in the top 10 the results aren't worth a thing and we need a new Manager? Nope, not at all. If we had looked a good side against the teams we had faced then I would be a lot more inclined to give Mangan the job. What I am trying to say is, under Mangan, it has been several very below par performances against very average opposition which has made the Mangan results look better than I personally think they are. Exactly this. Scraping results against weak opposition. Its not the way forward and no improvement on before, I don't know why the Mangan in crowd can't see this. It's a recipe for disaster and will lead to a season of struggle unless he can really change things up, which on the last few games showing, he can't do. I want an experienced manager who knows how to get us playing attractive and attacking football. Not a rookie who's learnt everything from the previous (sacked) manager

eric I lost your post now to reply, but where did you see we will potentially appoint someone this week? I had a look on the BP but couldn’t see anything? It was in their Bristol Rovers Page in the daily “Live” stream. No substance to that article other than its been over 2 weeks so the club might be ready to appoint someone

Has done as well as can be expected at Rotherham. Would be worth an interview surely. I hope the club at least contact him to see if he wants that conversation. Might not even be interested but worth the call

We won't carry on picking up decent results playing as we are now. Yesterday was arguably our worst performance of the season. Just 6 shots, 2 on target, no corners, low completed passes, and 45% possession. I lost count of the times we misplaced simple 5 yards passes, and in the second half we barely got out of our defensive third against a very poor Carlisle side. We've played 3 of the bottom 6 and on the balance of play and chances created could easily have lost all 3. I'm delighted we've picked up 7 points but we've been very lucky. I wasn't against his sacking but I think we've actually gone backwards since Barton left. We could still have a decent season if we get the right man in but Mangan isn't that guy in my opinion. Exactly as I see it.

Ffs guys Mangs is not the man for the job. He's had a free pass against 3 weak teams. I've seen nothing tactically that shows he's capable of mixing it up and changing things mid game when needed.
We need a strong manager to come in and implement their plan and tactics. We are in a good position and have a good squad of players. There's no reason we can't make the play offs this season with the right man and a few additions in Jan.
Just because he's won a few games and put points on the board does not mean he's the best man for the job unfortunately
