Agree about Aguilera, should have been subbed at halftime. To be fair to Martin, their C/B was their best player.

Rovers should have won comfortably. I could not see any one of their players who would get in the Rovers team on yesterdays performance.

In one game for a Rovers free kick, he pushed the opposition wall sideways enough for the ball to go round it for a goal.

Chelsea fans thought the Beard was the best player on the pitch in EFL cup tie.

Sorensen at rwb is going to cause all sorts of problems for Gordon. Standout player early season at The Mem Sinclair didn't play that game, so maybe it will be Sorensen who has the problem.

No matter who the manager/coach is, or the players are - we have been incapable of taking good throw-ins for decades Rory Gaffney was was decent with them.

Assuming their wages would be about the same, who would you take for next season, CM or JCH?

Just tried to buy a scarf for a friend and was told that they’re out of stock as “there are bills that haven’t been paid”. Asked to buy one of the 3 on display behind the counter and was told that they’re not for sale. Was going to buy a shirt as well but can’t be bothered now. Strange way to run a retail outlet 😂 No chance of a free one with a Season Ticket then.

I wonder why Beefy doesn't start? He was coping well with teams like Burton, Fleetwood and Northampton at Morecombe.

I'm sure my experience will be shared by many of my generation, i.e. born mid-fifties, now approaching 70 and retired. I still love coming to matches and even a few away every season. My wife still doesn't understand why an old bloke like me continues to wander up to the Men and watch lower league football in a cr*p stadium where I dread needing to visit the loo at half time every other weekend. The reason is simple, I first came when I was still at primary school and my dad started bringing me with him (not to the Mem of course..) Unlike many of my school mates I didn't support a First Division team because now I HAD A TEAM TO FOLLOW. It became part of my life and part of me, might sound daft but it's still part of who I am now and I can't imagine the day when it wouldn't be. Twerton wasn't my favourite ground but we still turned up. Dad's long gone now but I still miss him, us coming to the match, Sports Report in the car on the way home. Still turning up keeps me in touch with those old memories and happy days. If the club don't recognise the value of encouraging the next generation, of making it possible for them to come along, get excited about their team and their club by making it affordable, comfortable and safe then we're in trouble for the future. Where I stand on the Thatcher's there are an awful lot of grey heads like me and not a lot of youngsters as I remember. Agree with this -- Oh Most of the youngsters are down AG No they're not, two seasons ago my grandson who was 12 and an Arsenal fan and plays for a local club. The club arranged a match day experience at the Mem, training session, meet the JB and the team, a tour of the stadium and a lunchbox. Then watched the game in the southwest stand. It was Northampton, Rovers went 2 up, cobblers got 1 back, Rovers had a player sent off and cobblers had one kicked off the line in the last seconds of the game. It was pure football drama and he was hooked. His Dad and other Grandad tried to convert him to the darkside and even Swindle, but he was having none of it. I get him a season ticket now. And it was the same story for quite a few of his mates.

Same with me, even tried partners card. Thought it might be my PC, so I tried using my phone but wouldn't accept password. Tried resetting that, but there is no link in the reset email. Now you've posted this it'll probably work. My bank could see the attempted transactions, all 4 of them. Normally a big purchase - in my case - would prompt my bank app to ask me to confirm it was a legitimate payment but thats prompted by whoever's trying to take the money. Worked the 5th time. Gave up after 6 attempts. I was near the stadium this morning so called in, card worked there and saved me £10.

The Ticketmaster site says you can renew or pick a new ticket. Trying to buy one for south stand instead of renewing and keeps declining payment. Spoke to bank, nothing wrong with card. If you can't 'downgrade' why is the option there. Same with me, even tried partners card. Thought it might be my PC, so I tried using my phone but wouldn't accept password. Tried resetting that, but there is no link in the reset email.

Any terrace ST holders managed to renew and upgrade to the South Stand? When I log in to eticketing I haven't got an invitation to renew. Still feeling 2nd class after Norwich.

I know it was dreadful, but there were 7 players out who you would expect to start, not counting Rossiter, and 2 who started that were unfit.

Thanks for the replies, tickets are available for Stevenage, but they are now looking at the Cheltenham game.

I take my grandson to home games, we are ST holders, he wants to go to an away game, but I'm past that now. His Mum and Dad have said they will take him to the Stevenage game, but I think most of the tickets are sold, as it only lets me pick one ticket, (members only) they also want to go on a supporters coach. What games are left where there will be a decent allocation?

Frustrated me so much when Lee Johnson was purring at his finishing, upon the unvailing. Matty was a brilliant worker. A great link player and adequate finisher, but not great. 7 goals in 3 years for the sheeeet after leaving us. They didn't need him, that's why he only started about 20 games in two seasons. Nearly a goal every two games for Oxford and Rovers.

Don't know how much truth there was in it, but heard that Manchester United were scouting Simon Bryant (and Nathan Ellington) following the 2-2 draw in Lee Martin's testimonial. Bryant didn't play that night, but would later make his debut and become a regular at 16. This is true. I used to read the Sunday times back then and there was an article about the top 5 youngsters in the football league. Simon was in it and it referenced what you have just said. Brilliant player. I remember one newspaper saying clubs should not shy at paying £1 million for him.
