Would hope to take at least 600. Anyone know if this is pay on the day? I hope it is 'pay on the day'- no information on the club website!! Any suggested pubs apart from the one on the complex near the ground?

having just watched that pile of sh*t on ifollow i can safely say LINES was by far the worst player i have watched all season. cant run, defo cant tackle, stopped a few times to check his hair and makup Time to drop him and stick with The Beard, OC and LS in the middle Whilst I didn't watch tonight if you take Lines out of the team you take all creativity out. Especially when Bodin is injured. For me OC has been average at best this season and no where near his all action self of last season. Add that to the massively inexperienced back line and we're going to struggle. Totally agree Bishopston - well said!!!

In my opinion the central defensive partnership should be Sweeney and Broadbent this would a paring of gentlemen both of whom have considerable substance, and well capable of sorting out ant rock and roll by the opponents. Forget that they are both left footed, in the clubs history we have on plenty of occasions had central defence partnerships where both defenders have been right footed. As Knowall said earlier in this thread, why can't we have players that can kick with both feet? Then the central defensive pairing dilemma is less complicated. Agreed!! Broadbent and Sweeney on current form. Many top clubs and National sides have had both central defenders either both left footed or both right footed. Oh yes players who can kick with both feet!!!

Going to be a tough one. Safe travels to those making the journey Just checking that it's not all ticket for us. Very late decision to go. I am fairly sure it is all-ticket for us!!

Not many tickets sold - not surprising a week after Wolves.

Not many sold? I'd say 700 is a fair amount considering it's a long trip up north and POTD is available. 700 are you sure, that seems like an awful lot? Fair play if true? I was told that about 350 had been sold???

gasinsider , A pass for the first goal which Sinclair ,if playing, would not have attempted and therefore the player slipping would not have mattered. It seems to get forgotten the number of times that Lines wilkl turn one way and then the other then release a long pass which stretches play. Sinclair can only really play in home matches in place of Ollie Clarke because otherwise we become ultra defensive very easily with no width. IMO we lack a bit of quality this season which is being shown up more by last seasons players struggling fo9r form. Leadbitter, Sweeney, Brown and Ollie Clarke are all struggling at the moment for last seasons form and with Moore struggling generally and Broom not yet good enough we are really struggling for width. Good post!!

Okay, fair enough. By the way Nottsgas, I am just about to move to Matlock- many gas in your area and are there any meet ups? I don't come across many at all really. Although our support at away games around here doesn't seem to be too bad, but I don't know if that's just because there's been a few big(ish) teams up this way playing in League One in the last few years (Sheff Wed, Sheff Utd, Forest, Leeds, Leicester, etc.). I know there's someone who posts on here from Kiveton which isn't too far from me as I'm from Bassetlaw (North Notts) but would be a bit further from Matlock. [br Hello Notts Gashead UTG

Careful Steve. If you don't express sainthood with Browner and Locks you might get some abuse. Much as I saw it, except I don't see what Lines brings to the party any more. Sercombe is such quality Lines is just excess baggage in my opinion. I'd put Broadbent in alongside Sweeney, and leave Lines out. That gives us an extra threat in the air from corners and free kicks, whilst Broadbent is also pacier than Sweeney. It could be a good year to grow him into the position so we no longer need Sweeney. Re - comments on Lines - Bury fans after the game stated that Sercombe and Lines were class and dictated the game!!! They thought we deserved more goals. I tend to agree with their after match comments.
