Wael’s not in the country half the time. Starnes has presided over a succession of unsuccessful hires. Getting rid of Barton is only the start of unwinding this mess.

Reggie Lamb released by Cambridge (he must be getting on a bit) Conrad Logon released by Mansfield. Matt Harold released by Orient. Akinde released by Lincoln. Jack Bonham released by Brentford. (2019) Interesting - thanks.

I’m lucky enough to be able to run the risk of buying my first ever season ticket even though I live a 100 miles away and will likely never get the use. It would be naive to believe it will make a huge difference but anything to help maximise our slim chance of survival....

Hargreaves’ autobiography (“Where’s Your Caravan”) is well worth a read - he’s seen the ups and downs at this level and would be the continuity Coughlan candidate albeit less dour and with more charisma
Mansell’s water taking and jokes would be a good complement as well. We need something to make us laugh at the moment.

Lots of fans will claim their club is cursed in some way (anyone who doesn’t follow the top 2 or 3 teams that happen to be top of the pyramid at that point in time usually). Ignoring the glory seekers though, is their any other club with the potential we have that hasn’t played in the top tier (I think at least half the league has at some point) and that has a such a sh** stadium (which we should consider ourselves “lucky” to own, for the time being at least)? Really? Feel free to look down the list of the 92 and tell me I’m entitled...

The audio keeps breaking down on iFollow. Not a huge disappointment as the commentator is the guy who usually does the Yeovil games - talks drivel and can’t seem to wait for Bromley to score

I am not going tomorrow, will definitely go to Sunderland as it is a new ground for me; stopped using my season card / ticket, prefer to watch Somerset Premier league football. I went to the Barnet game on Wednesday and that on top of Luton away was / is enough for this season, after watching since the early 70s, enough is finally enough, I just cannot watch this team every week, I will watch selected matches, hope things will change. UTG Watching Since the early 70s and this team now , losing by one goal most weeks with the odd draw and win thrown in which is only in the drop zone by a point not even half way through the season in league 1 and you’ve had enough ? I think that says more about you than our club. Each to their own but what about the conference season ? All those years of struggling at the bottom of league 2 ? Surely that was worse than a relegation dogfight in league 1 in November ? Personally I’m well up for the fight, I didn’t turn my back on my club when we were two divisions below where we are now so I’m certainly not going to chuck the towel in. Well that’s made my ******* mind up. Depressed about the situation since the Hamer interview, was wondering if I could be bothered going to Charlton. Now I’m up for it!

Eeesh, wish I hadn’t heard that. It’s stuck now, even started singing it out loud and couldn’t help doing the actions. Could be quite dangerous on a crowded terrace.

Perhaps he says all that and more at the training ground and in the dressing room? Sure all the motivational stuff would have been covered in that training course he went on recently so I wouldn’t worry 👍 Our away form hardly supports those views though? I still can't get my head around how we were so poor in the first half v P'boro. I was being slightly tongue in cheek - what do they cover on UEFA coaching course? If not motivation, what?

At the end of the Peterborough game there was a lot of singing in support of Nichols and the whole of the team. Fans who are there know how to get behind the team and spur them on for the next match. I’d take that as a positive for the time being.

If Reilly's replaced Gaffers why is DC talking about signing two No 9's as Gaffers was rarely played as a No 10? DC's said earlier today that barring late injuries etc he's picked his team for Saturday, so even if we sign a new No 9 before 5pm(?) tomorrow it looks like Reilly (fingers crossed) or Nichols (most likely?) will start upfront on Saturday. If Nichols does start, I hope he is up for it as he will get a rough ride from his ex team mates and abuse from the home fans too. I hope he is in the mood to not only prove us wrong but his old club wrong too. Not sure he’ll have any ex team-mates there given the turnover at Peterborough!
